Hi.

I was in a bit of a panic earlier when i sent the previous message amd have since gone through the suggested links etc, to better uderstand what i need to do next.

It is not quite 5 days from the issue date, so tomorrow i will go onto the MCOL service and AOS.
The link on how to complete this is great, even for a dumbass like myself.

I have started work on the defence using the template and HHGGG and i will post an image of the Claim Form just in 
case there is something on it that is different or would mean i need to word it differently. Once done i will post the first few paragraphs as the remaining paragraphs are part of the template and are fixed.

Again, your guidance is greatly appreciated.

Perfect.  You are well in track to beating this.  Show us the claim front page but cover the MCOL password, the Claim number and your data (and redact the VRM only in the POC section which we need to see).

With a Claim Issue Date of 7th December, you have until Thursday 28th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. 

To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 9th January 2024 to file your Defence.

That's four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. 

To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.

Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Haha, you have the same letter as me, including the date. Check my thread and see if the PoC I posted up is the same as yours?

I just checked and the POC are exactly the same.

I am going to do my AOS today / tomorrow and will need to send the defence prior to Xmas as i am away for most of January.
