That is an option. No-one said it wasn't.TRIO74 said:easy for you to say, but you dont know my personal circumstances and there is so much information that i just cant work out what to email CST Law.
if i had an option to do nothing and completeely ignore them, i would but i think they would pursue this to court
Don't pay a scam to make it go away. IMHO that is a terrible thing to do, regardless of any personal circumstances I can think of, and will make you feel worse about it.
DO NOTHING at this stage...get on with your life...and wait for the court claim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Pay them and get marked as a "mug" for future fleecing. Fight this as advised and you don't pay a penny.
Even if you did lose in court (which you won''t unless you do nothing), you'd pay less than you're planning to pay them now. You are correct, we do not know your circumstances but you say you don't have the money but are willing to pay scammers for a quiet life. Don't you see the contradiction there?
I hope you're able to think this through a bit more carefully and not FUBAR it for yourself and fund the scammers.2 -
Everyone on here will encourage you to stay strong and don’t give in to these bullies. If you aren’t up to a robust letter in response to their Letter of Claim ignore it for now and wait for the inevitable Court claim which you must respond to. At that point after acknowledging the claim you can copy the defence from @HHGGG who is currently going through the exact same scam at the the same site. Have a look most of the defence work is done for you.

Okay, lets see what happens next then. I just went through to defence from @HHGGG and it is amazing the amout of work someone has done to create a template etc to fight these claims, Well done to this community to support us in our fight against what is clearly a scam. surely at some stage these have to be shut down.

Next year the law will change and they'll be robustly regulated. Working on it (literally, because I'm on the Government Steering Group).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all I'm not this boat too, and I got a LBC from CST LAW today, I'd appreciate if you could give me some guidance on how to reply as I cannot find robust letters to send to them my answer.
Same car park, same issue with the infamous McDonalds site.
I don't want to pay and I want to fight this one, but it's my 1st time facing this situation so I have no idea really what to do.
Many thanks in advance for your advice.

@raislander, you need to start your own thread if you want advice. You will not be paying the scammers a penny if you follow the advice already provided and you read the Newbies/FAQ thread.
For now, start your own thread please.2 -
Again, a stupid question, but i assume i copy the draft from @HHGGG amending the first sentence of para 5, and then paste this onto the defence section.
I have been on the moneyclaim.gov.uk website and i have seen the form N9B. Is this the form where i copy and paste all the information into?
Do i print it off and post it, or can this be sent via e-mail.
I did say i am not good at all with this type of thing, but i really do want to support all the work the people on this forum have done to help people like myself in avoiding these scams.

After acknowledging the claim the Moneyclaim website is read only. Please re-read the Newbies and Template threads where you will see you do not fill in the on line form but send your completed defence by email to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk2
