And that is exactly what you need to tell McD.

Tell them that now that you have discovered that each visit comes with a £100 surcharge, you and your family and friends are extremely unlikely to ever visit one of their establishments again.

Ask them to restore your faith by cancelling the absurd charge.

I received a NTK on he 4th Nov based on an incident dated 17th Oct. I was very confused at first and choose

    What was this incident?
Did the car overstay? - by a lot? by a little ? roughly how long? was there an incident on the site that caused an overstay?

Was the car prevented from leaving the site - broke down, traffic outside, police incident ?

Did the vehicle make two visits and this was then classed as one long visit ( also known as double dipping) ?

The best way to deal with this is a complaint to Mc Donald's /the franchise , however how you go about it depends upon the nature of the incident

yes i watched that, very funny.
Yes it is funny BUT ...... there is a very serios point.  MET are operating two car parks on a site that offers two eating houses which is probably owned by one landowner and that being BP

The cameras MET have set up are designed to capture an invisible border that motorists cannot see.

    It's a clever scam

The vehicle was parked in a spot that unbeknown to the driver, was meant to be for Starbucks customers and not mcdonalds. only there for approx 20 mins.

And that is the whole point ...... I have seen this set up and it is a carefully designed money trap.

Even a judge would fall into this money trap

I would imagine when this wheeze was set up, the salesperson from MET said the say Starbucks, if your customers go to Mcdonalds whilst in your car park, MET will punish that customer for crossing over the invisible line.

It could be acceptable if two independent operated this car parks but, it's only MET ... SUCH A CON

I very much doubt that a judge is likely to be taken in by this scam.  I would have no hisitation in encouraging them to go to court over ths.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

I didn't read back, no doubt already posted but Joe Lycett did a TV piece exposing that scam:

Nothing to worry about and certainly not to be paid.

Hi All. I have received confirmation that they have rejected my appeal and that they expect me to pay the amount or they will instruct debt recovery agents.

Can you please advise what my next course of action is?

    Your support is gratefully received.
