No. 48 with £225 in November taking me to £19819 so far.Looks like I should hit £20k next month, which although short of my target, that was always very optimistic this year so really please with that.
2023 will have to wait until we have moved in Jan and everything has settled down as we'll be reinvesting some sums from a house sale for a while. Off to do the forms.4 -
I can't actually believe we're at the end of November already, it's madness
No.22 checking in with £1321.65. Will update the form now. I can't wait to get the final few weeks out of the way and then rest haha£12k in 25 #14 £10,474.10/£18k 24 #14 £15,653.11/£18k 23 #14 £17,195.80/£18k 22 #20 £23,024.86/£23k4 -
Reporting £706.94 for November. In terms of outgoings - OH informed me we were buying MIL's old dinner table as she is down-sizing, so that was an unexpected expense. And more expected - I had to buy a Chromebook as the work laptop got returned on my last day in the office.

No 15 reporting £861 in savings for November, lot more than expected but finally pay rise sorted and backdated pay in. Just glad I have Christmas already paid for so I don't splash out.It is the job that is never started that takes the longest to finish. Tolkien.Save 12k in 2025 No 18 365 1p challenge 2025 No 24

#4 reporting £523.46, had a spendy month buying dog food in bulk (planned), bought a new washer dryer (didn’t NEED one but been wanting a new one for ages), plumber call out (didn’t work so more of that in December 🙈), gifts and annual building insurance. Also withdrew a lot to pay final invoice to replace my heating but since it’s come from a pot of donated money I’m not counting that as it was never added to my savings pot. Will have more plumbing and vet costs next month but should be able to claim the vet bill back. Also had the gutters cleaned today so need to pay that as soon as he invoices me. Must start a house fund as I don’t have a pot of money for the general home maintenance costs so far and have to nab it from my other pots as and when
trying not to spend a lot for Christmas but will buy a few small gifts5 -
After three really good years doing this challenge I’m fearful for what will be our target next year. The sums just aren’t adding up. We tend to aim for somewhere in the region of £1250 a month on average - I’m thinking £600 at the most next year, probably the very most.5

Will you being this again in 2023? If so, could I keep my existing number please?
Thanks!

#75 reporting £603.27 for November. Definitely not on track for target this year but definitely better off than if I haven't tried! Will continue to plod on this month whilst planning how to approach next year with a bit more vigour.
