I'm still some distance behind you, but the FI goal is slowly coming into sight. Seems amazing to have been posting on these threads for 10 years, but although it feels like slow progress at times, the net result is very much life-changing.2

Congratulations @geoffers4 on reaching the end point - the start of decumulation - after years of hard saving. Definitely a reminder to the rest of us why we are saving.
And thank you so much @slowlyfading for this year, and in advance for next year as well. Morning - srry for the slow update for December.
£200 saved which take me *just* over the £20k.
I've effectively retired as of October so wont be committing in 2023 as I'll be spending instead of saving! Many thanks to @slowlyfading for running this thread - it has enabled me to go early than we had planned and enjoy life.
Off to update the form and signature. Happy saving in 2023 all!

#21 providing the final update for 2022!
October = -£220
November = -£641
December = £5,538.
Overall that brings me to 130% of my target, overall very pleased with that. A lot more activity going on due to new higher saving rates coming out, lets hope 2023 is a bit better than 2022 for multiple reasons!

#5 reporting in for December 2022, managed to save £1,440 so coming just over my £18,000 target for the year. I also managed to put £2,150 into my repairs & replacements pot for work I am expecting to have done around the house over the coming 12 months.
Thanks again to @slowlyfading for organising all of this.
