Thank you for the help that I was given here.
A few £ figures are presented on the bill without an associated calculation. I tried a number of reverse calculations and felt happy enough that the figures were correct.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -
Gave EDF a reading yesterday. DD was reassessed immediately and this morning I've received a bill that (almost) agrees with my spreadsheets, at least within 40p, since the demise of Zog.
Can't immediately see where the difference lies but since I've never had an explanation of the initial post Zog charges on the Ist bill or the miscellaneous "price rebate" applied in March ,I'm not surprised.
However, EDF still appear to want to raise another bill as they require a further reading by the 24th June ,to raise a bill for 2nd to 24th - in God's name why ??

My turn now. yesterday the web site stated 2nd July review, provide readings etc. This morning an e-mail to provide readings by 10th June.As far as the price rebate goes, for my daughter's account I calculated it should have been £3.57, EDF credited £6.66 so not going to argue.Her June review date has gone from the website, yesterday after the 31st read it was last review May next review June, now December but it is still asking for a June 24th read.0

EDF have released me so looks like my switch to Octopus should be smooth! EDF says they are sad to see me go, I wish I could say the same about them!I think there is a point when you have just had enough of EDF!1

I have checked on the site under meter reading and it is saying my last submitted reading was yesterday at the correct figure so they definitely have the meter reading so guess will wait and see when i get a bill / DD adjustment (if any).

It says it can take 5 working days for bill to be issued, so if you haven't got it after that then contact EDF. That's what I had to do as mine was stuck and had to be released manually, I wasn't given a proper reason. The website showed that they had my meter reading but the balance did not change until I spoke to support and then I got bill next day, so it looks like you might have the same scenario as me.

Out of habit I read my meter yesterday (1st) way ahead of the date EDF wanted (19th) and got a bill within hours - still in credit.. The next meter read date has disappeared.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
