EDF are sending increasingly "threatening" emails re 1st June meter reading ,suggesting that no meter read may lead to inaccurate billing - yet in the app and on the website they are still saying "by 22nd June". It'll be "interesting" to see IF they produce a bill when I put tomorrow's reading into the website - and if they still want a 22nd June reading as well!!

Already said I'm not crying foul, my final bill was at the pre-April tariff and new supplier is in the process of refunding me, I'm happy with the result, it just all looks a bit messy.

I'm a very regular meter reader and I'd only been with the previous supplier 4 months (SOLR).

Daughter is on 22 Jun review date and, as posted above, read submitted, balance reduced awaiting bill, DD adjusted and all is well.
Website says last review - May 22, next review Jun 22 so maybe that will change when the actual bill is produced.
Full breakdown of estimate for year, amount paid so far for year, remainder divided by 6 = new DD.

Bill arrived this morning less than 24hrs after read submitted.
Interesting.  It doesn't add up but is correct.
Total for gas used this period = £x.xx,Sub total = £x.xx, £6.xx lower.
No mention of how that was arrived at but just happens to equal the mysterious credit that was applied and assumed to be the correction for non DD tariff rates on first bill.  2p different from my calculation but I have found that on the bill, 2 separate 1p rounding differences.
Still asking for a 22nd June read though and showing next bill date as 22nd June !

My definition of a "threatening email" must be different from yours... get a grip !

That's why I put the "threatening" in parentheses - the email has a big red banner headline "we need your meter readings"

Just submitted my meter reading which they wanted by 3rd June.
Will wait and see what happens from here as they said on website needed by 24th June so will see if i get a bill or further emails for readings nearer 24th June..

Submitted my usual monthly reading yesterday and received an up-to-date statement this morning which I have since reconciled with my own spreadsheet calculations.

I will enter the summer £1.68 in credit and with the direct debit unchanged (well until October when I will increase it).

So no problems with EDF from my experience.

I did a rough calc and hoping my DD will not alter or if it does it will be a small amount like £1-£2 as i think with my credit from Zog, it should balance out the increase in prices :) But will wait and see when i get further update/bill from EDF.

Have you not checked ?  Yesterday the account balance and DD amount was there instantly after submitting the read.
