Sorry, our site is out of action while we do some essential maintenance. PAYG top-ups will be available again from 2 pm. Everything else will be back to normal by 2.15pm.Read submitted through app although it decided the read didn't look right

Just had a call from The EO to confirm that my simple complaint against EDF has been upheld: the Final Bill is incorrect, and it needs to be re-issued. I struggle to understand how the EDF complaints team followed by a separate review by a Senior Complaints Manager would allow a complaint to be escalated for an obvious ‘school boy/girl’ mathematical error. The person that made the DD billing adjustment to the Final Bill applied the difference in unit prices but not the difference in standing charges. I take no satisfaction from the fact that this complaint will have cost EDF £00s in Ombudsman fees.

Just entered readings on website and created the bill amounts straight away (on Whole month DD) with bills to be available in usual 5 working days. Added a couple of extra units to show the usage today
Also had Zog credit added.. but disappeared fairly quickly and it says they are sending a cheque..0 -

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -

From EDF site when trying to log in:Trying to submit a meter reading?
We are seeing an unprecedented demand from customers trying to submit a meter reading either online or via the EDF mobile app, which has led to us experiencing technical issues, we’re continuing to resolve this issue as quickly as we can and we apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.
We urge customers not to worry and want to reassure them, that they don’t have to submit meter readings to us today and can share these with us in the coming days. In the meantime, we would encourage customers who usually submit meter readings to either take a photo, or make a note of their meter reading. Customers who have a smart meter, or are on a fixed tariff, don’t need to do anything at the moment.0 -
To give EDF credit where its due, and I know its face a lot of criticism in this thread, at least their online meter reading submission form does allow you to submit a meter reading tonight. Which can be more than said trying to give an meter reading via EON Next.1
