Same here. Utter shambles. Actual bill not showing and only shown on online as "bill adjustment" carried forward onto first electronic bill.Robin9 said:Paper Bill date 1st March for that Dec 4 -15 period.
No sign of it on My Bills and Payments
DD for random amount is still showing as being collected in early April despite being told the only DD would be the monthly fixed amount.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Yes, I was due a monthly bill on the 25th but it never got generated. I called EDF CS today and they promised to poke the Interocitor and get it to spit out a billjimjames said:

Well, in my case, and apparently many others, we HAVE been retrospectively charged for that period, and it has clearly NOT been waived for us.Dolor said:When I queried the lack of a charge for the period 4th to the 14th December, I was told by a Complaints Manager that EDF could not charge any customer for this period as it was pre the COSGain Date. When I suggested that someone needed to read the Ofgem SoLR Guidance, they responded with a written statement a couple of days later that the charge had been waived.
Moreover, as per my previous convo with @Umiamz , us EDF ‘stayers’ are hence worse off than the EDF ‘leavers’, purely because EDF know where to get hold of us, to bill us. The ‘leavers’, through no fault of their own, have not been charged, and in all likelihood won’t be.The lack of consistency of treatment from EDF, and to be fair, all of the other big SoLR suppliers, is breathtaking.1 -
I have not as yet seen a charge/ bill for the period 4-15th Dec, however mine would just be the S/C. I am a remainer (for now).Does anyone posess the T & Cs for the "Welcome Standard" ? I had no option but to select Variable Standard when I set up DD, but I see others are still on Welcome Standard with DD. What's the difference?0

What's the difference?'Welcome Standard' costs more, it's charged at the Cash/Cheque rate.EDF started everyone on the Cash/Cheque rate because (unlike other SoLRs) they couldn't get the DDs transferred across from Zog. EDF promised to refund the overcharge if a DD was set up by 31 January. I complied, and the rate thereafter changed to 'Welcome Standard - Direct Debit', although this was shown only in the billing section, not in the 'About Your Tariff' section. It's unclear whether they have refunded the initial overcharge: I've had a credit applied but with no indication as to what it relates, and their 'Welcome to customers joining us from Zog Energy' page hasn't been updated for the last four weeks.1

This Island Earth, although I do hope to read the book eventually
To my mild surprise the bill I requested yesterday is visible on my account now. It includes entries for "bill adjustment" of £30-ish debit, "your balance transfer from previous supplier" of £60-ish credit, and "price rebate" of £5-ish credit.Gerry1 said:It's unclear whether they have refunded the initial overcharge: I've had a credit applied but with no indication as to what it relates, and their 'Welcome to customers joining us from Zog Energy' page hasn't been updated for the last four weeks.I think that's everything squared away. @QrizB I normally send readings on the 28th but this time I'll leave it until the (s)witching hour on the 31st and then request a bill !QrizB said:BUFF said:QrizB said:

Have they actually explained how they have calculated this "price rebate" ?? I have had a paper bill in the post explaining the initial "bill adjustment" -but the 2nd credit adjustment remains a mystery!QrizB said:BUFF said:QrizB said:

Welcome Standard does not cost more, it is the same as Standard Variable and varies by payment method. I am on WS and my daughter is on SV, both at exactly the same payment by DD rates.Gerry1 said:Northern_Wanderer said:I have not as yet seen a charge/ bill for the period 4-15th Dec, however mine would just be the S/C.
