  • Ho yes, over £15 credit for me. My reputation must have gone before me. How long before they cancel it, though?

Is it EDF that are taking over the lottery from Camelot?

£5.93 for me - doesn't tie up with any of my calculations ! However - gift horses and mouths come to mind ..... :D
  • i've had a £4.25 credit this morning - as others have mentioned, i've got no idea what it relates to exactly.
as things stand now, the next DD whole amount payment doesn't include that £4.25, so the account will still be in credit after the payment is taken on the 4th... though that's still a fortnight away, so who knows.
I suspect this is one of those sites that will have to be checked daily to see what the current balance is!

  • Credit received to cover the additional non Direct Debit charge between 4th and 31st December as originally promised by EDF.

    Account now fully up-to-date.

But can you agree their calculations ? My credit still seems to be a little short, but can't be sure as the aren't showing HOW they got the figures for these random extra charges /credits. And they haven't updated the FAQs to explain that they are doing it.

According to my own calculations they have credited me a few pence more but then I don't know what calorific value they have used.

The EDF online account is probably one of the worst I have come across, and I will be switching as soon as it is feasible to do so, but to be fair they have done what they said they would do with regards the ZOG and DD credits albeit not as quickly as some on here would like.

I think that EDF recognises how poor its billing system is compared to many others in the sector which is why they have bought into Kraken - a billing system produced by Octopus Technologies (part of the Octopus Energy Group).

FWIW, I was an EDF customer when the present system was brought in. I recall that EDF had about 18 month’s worth of problems.

I left EDF on 5 Jan.  My Zog credit was creditted on 17 March and a cheque issued the same day.  No alteration has been made for the 5 - 15 Dec.

I did receive a leaving bill for the 15 Dec to 5 Jan, which I paid seperately.

Same here. I never got round to setting up a DD and glad I didn't, given the number of mistakes they made calculating my final bill (varying between £50 and £1000).

Still nothing from 5th December to 15th for me...

My first bill from EDF shows "Bill Adjustment £118.38". No other details. I have only had one bill from them to 9th January and it includes my Zog credit. Can't find anything on their help pages.
