I wonder if being on a variable DD (as I am) makes a difference then? Very odd if that is the case....but then this is EDF 🤔

@[Deleted User] I suspect you may be right, although it would be nice to see a calculation. Especially as with their first attempt at a bill, EDF did not properly account for the promised 'difference between Direct Debit and Cash/chq payment' rebate.
All I got on my second Final Bill was a single line adjustment with no underpinning calculations and it was 70p out in EDF's favour. I complained and provided them with two sets of calculations: one, based on the split tariff with an adjustment and, two,  a more simple calculation of charges based on the tariff after my DD was set up using the total number of days and the total number of kWh. The calculated charges for the entire billing came to the same total figure which proved that the calculation that EDF did was wrong.

My complaint was immediately deadlocked so I passed it on to The EO. If my calculations are wrong, then someone other than EDF will be able to explain to me what I have missed.

I keep my own spreadsheets so I'm not too bothered - EDF continue to amaze - perhaps they'll get into the 21st century with teir IT and take some lessons in consistent information

@[Deleted User] Plus, of course, the next bill/statement will also feature split tariff calculations, because of the upcoming increases in April. Super.

They can handle that OK as I have had a bill that shows the non-DD rates for a part of a billing period and the DD rates for the rest of the billing period with each period shown and calc'd separately.

Just set up the EDF app (again !) on an old phone. Altho the website is just showing my DD payments and no outgoings ,the app is showing a balance which approximates to DDs plus Zog credit less the changeover gap costs - no full explanation and differs by ~ £1 from my spreadsheet - I await the first bill with interest and much trepidation ,with two changes of tariff to get right after April 1st !!

I too was frustrated at not having an account balance (on website). I have also had no bills.
I have now found it - under tariff details.
Why under tariff details, rather than payments and bills - who the hell knows!

I have also had my Zog credit today. Which I'm pleased about, as I'm waiting on a final bill from EDF.

But there is a £9.90 difference (in EDF's favour) in the account balance and Payments made and Zog credit.

Just set up my direct debit again 1st attempt was 18th jsnuary as it never went through. £152 dd amount. Got my £358 credit today but my 1st bill was £296 from 15 dec to 14th feb. So left with £106 credit after my additional payments.

for me, the balance shows on both the homepage and the payment & bills page... though i'm theoretically on a whole amount direct debit, and I think the site is different depending on which DD setting you're on.
anyway, it's now 5 working days after my meter reading... and err nothing... no first bill generated, no support agents available and no Zog credit (though from other posts, it sounds like that might be imminent) - i'd really like to see a generated bill this month before the April changes... i'll try them again tomorrow.
