The other daft thing about the "bill" is that it shows an overall credit balance for 24th Dec BUT that includes the DDs taken in Jan ,Feb and March !!!
I've decided to go to battle over the DD rate vs Cash rate fiasco - after all, I can do other things whilst waiting for the Chat agent to come up with some preposterous explanation !!0 -
I have a “billing adjustment” charge on my bill which amounts to the £45.32 that was deducted from my credit yesterday. No explanation of what that is? But the amount would fit for a charge for the 5th-15th even though it’s not detailed anywhere!!0

It has Dec 15 - Jan 05.
Dec 5 - Jan 04 has 4.068p and 29.31 SC.
Jan 5 - 5 (1 day) has 3.862p and 24.87p SC.
There is something wrong here i think.0 -
@Robin9 Possibly not. I was just surmising from the reply of @Umiamz that those who have moved on from EDF would probably get away with the extra charge for the early limbo period. Presuming that’s what it is.
However, as @brewerdave has said, has the extra been charged at the dd rate, or at the cash rate?0 -

I have received a credit onto my account today. It's for the same amount as my final Zog bill which I am happy with. I will give my meter readings on the 31st March and request a second bill. Then I will switch to whole amount monthly DD.I have not been informed of any price increase yet so may play that one if push comes to shove. Has anyone else not been informed officially of impending price rise from EDF? If I can switch suppliers I probably will due to poor customer service from EDF.EDIT: I used my closing reading for Zog 4th DEC as my opening reading for EDF for the 15th DEC. I only expect as small adjustment for standing charge at some point.0

I've just had my credit applied but no new bill since the bill for 15 December 2021 - 27 January 2022
that was issued on 27th Jan.
I'm a low user for gas so my credit actually covers about 2 months of current charges.0 -

Zog credit has been applied, amount correct according to Zog final bill with accurate last reading.
Gas bill from 15 Dec to 4 Jan at higher non-DD rate and 4 Jan to 5 Jan at lower DD rate. The readings were estimated, apart from my reading on 5 Jan when I set up budget DD.
I believe if DD was set up before 31 Jan then the lower rate will be applied from start.
There is also a bill adjustment debit but no explanation what this is or how calculated.
Is this a similar story with others and anyone received information on what the bill adjustment amount is for?1
