Just chatted with an agent, asked to be moved to Zero Fixed Oct 2022 with variable DD, this was the reply:

I have made the arrangements for you and the tariff will be updated to your account within 10 working days and you will also receive a written confirmation via post within 7 days

To all the naysayers who said I'd have to take this to the Supreme Court or whatever, do enjoy your SVT  :D
Just to confirm you chatted with agent today as I was about to give them a go to remind them

My switch completed yesterday so went in live chat to remind them the agreed move to zero fixed once switch happened…..was told that it would take 28 days for account to be fully updated and this transfer to zero fixed showing online but was assured this would happen and be backdated to start date. We shall see! Seems partly down to luck of the draw as to who you chat to as not convinced by this 28 day thing as recall others having new tariff updated straightaway.
Just been on live chat and got the same response so fingers crossed

Sounds like the one team that didn't get the memo is on shift today :)

New to this thread as just noticed this tariff mentioned on the Neon Reef thread. Can I just check I've understood correctly please?

The current welcome tariff is variable & although July 2022 is stated as an end date/price guaranteed to, we have no confirmation as yet that this SOLR tariff won't increase in April 2022?

It's pot luck on chat if you can switch to the zero fixed Oct 2022 as strictly speaking, it shouldn't be available to ex Neon customers?

For info, we're a high user, elec only, 10,000+ kwh p/Yr, & a further increase of 40% in April as quoted by Martin, is horrendous. Our bill will already be increasing from around £1500 to £2400 on the welcome SOLR tariff.

    Thanks

Many of us jumped onto the Zero Fix October 22 bandwagon before BG were even appointed as SOLR to Neon Reed, so for example my switch was a result of me singing up via the BG website rather than the SOLR process. Whether customers who've actually been SOLR'ed over can get this tariff is anyone's guess, but if you're with BG anyway there's nothing to be lost in giving it a go. The worst that can happen is that they say no.
  • After numerous chat attempts and being told no I managed to switch over to the zero fix October 22 today I was told my online account would update in the next 25 days

Result, just logged onto my account and got a nice surprise:
Did you have to go on live chat to chase it? I think the 28 days timescale they gave me takes me to middle of this coming week so if not done by then guess I’ll be back on live chat! (I’ve just checked mine and still showing the expensive tariff they initially switched me to).

I won take any timescales they give you with a pinch of salt.
both because they are completely inconsistent and they don’t stick to them.
i was told 24 hours about 10 days ago, still haven’t switched.
