You should send your daughter the letter from the CCBC; if she does not know about it and does nothing there is a risk of a CCJ by default.  THEN you should suggest she signs up for an account on this forum and starts a new thread/discussion if she needs any help.  It is not good forum etiquette to jump on someone else's thread.  Do Not Post any more on this thread as it could confuse the issue for the OP.

Yep we know and understand that and we want to help your DD defend and win, as 99% of posters here do.

See my signature (below) for how to hop back one step and see the busy forum this little single thread sits on. There is a NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread at the top and the second post of it is all a out how to deal with and win when defending a court claim.

What you don't know is when they actually send the defence (no S) to the claimant - so don't go thinking you're in the clear 28 days from now. ;)

The wife has just received a copy of the completed N180 from Parkingeye filled in with their details    it is filled in as follows   A1 Yes, B1 their postal and email detailsbut no phone number   C1 Yes,D1 Blank, D2 No, D3 Zero, D4 No, no to interpreter and signature it is just printed ParkingEye Ltd.

Does this mean they received her defence and decided to take her to court?  She still has not received her N180 from the court and was a little perplexed that Parkingeye had not only received theirs buy had enough time to complete it and send a copy to her.    Should we contact the court and ask about her N180 or should we just wait for it to arrive?

In that list you were following when you filed your Defence, did you read this?...

Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list are well worth re-reading.

The CCBC sent you a letter saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence.

What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant.
It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a DQ as promptly as you might like.
Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.

Thanks for that we have been waiting for the DQ to come through the post did not realise you had to access it through Mcol.
