Swap bacon for turkey rashers, only 25 cals per slice, lovely tasting, not full of fat, less than 3% in WW bread makes a lovely buttie and much less calories:D
missyg I am certain now re the leeway it would have to be no more than 3lb for me because what I went through over the xmas gain is not good for me, it just made me think OMG I am loosing the battle, here I go again up and up 3lb has in my own mind some pull back if it is wrestled with, 7lb too far off for me.
jen Sorry but I would be no use to you in the advise on maintaining, hopeless as proven by xmas, I just watch daily what I eat now much more than I ever did before , before it was diet, loose, goal, great, back on, loose, I am hoping the close eye will give me some hope of keeping it off.
jillie well done, a 1lb is 52lb a year , or nearly 4 stone and that is never to be sneezed at xx0 -

Hi Victory
Congrats on the weight loss :T
I've tried to buy turkey rashers before and looked in Waitrose and Tesco, but couldn't find any - where can I get them from? Are they kept near to the bacon or cooked meats???

I know this is randomly late...but I am a student what can I say!
Well i weighed myself...and I saw 13st 6lb...which wudda been a 1lb lost...but then i was told you should weigh yourself...on like a kitchen or bathroom floor (not on carpet) and to my horror...I saw 13st 8lb which would be a gain of 1lb..so I dunno what to do..bearing in mind the first time i weighed myself was on saturday, when it said 13st 7lb
I think the best thing is to start me on 13lb on a zero lost...? or is that no good?

Good morning BB, I hope you're feeling a bit better.
I've lost 1.5 lb this week, so now a total of 25 lb.
Could you please PM me with some help as to how to do the chart so I can hit the ground running (as if) for February? When you've got time and energy ... but I might be a slow learner!0 -
This is only my second post on this board so hope i'm doing this right?! Earlier someone mentioned Wednesday evening was the weight loss chart update so I thought i'd make my weight in Wednesday morning so i've just done it and i've los 1lb which I don't think is too bad as I lost 6lb since Boxing Day due to the flu so now i've started eating again I new the loss would slow! I don't know if you need start weight which was 198lbs  now 191lbs overall target 155lbs my first mini target is 182lbs by 29th February
As i've started eating properly again i've gone back to the gym too, took it easy Monday with a 20 min walk on treadmill and a half hour stability ball class then yesterday and this morning i've done a 400 calorie gym work out so not doing too bad but i've still got lots of Christmas choc around with being ill from Boxing Day so on the negative side I ate 4 mini Ritter Sport Bars on Monday and a Thorntons Reindeer Lolly yesterday - oups! So I'm quite suprised to have lost the 1lb!
Hope everyone else and the other newbies are doing ok!Started doing competitions: 08/10/2007, Won: Spiderman 3 DVD0 -
My actual weigh was going to be thursday as thats when i started but i decided i'm going to change to a wednesday so i can weigh in with everyone else so in 6 days i have lost 1.5lbs very happy and looking back at my food diary i have't been depriving myself of anything really just cutting back on the c*%p and i have stopped going to the bakery on work days (too many hot cheese straws mmmmmmm)!
Bargainbabe what a terrible shock for you and your family hugs to you all!
Victory well done on your amazing loss i am going to try hot lemon....oh and walking LOL!

Bluecorn i am also a lover of traditional lemonade i get the diet one from asda 3 bottles for a £1!!! I do try not to drink more than 1 big glass a day though because i find the bubble bloat me out, infact i sip mine throughout the evening as it is so sweet it helps me not to snack!!!!!Goal weight....lighter than when I started0 -
