Hey people!
GUESS WHAT! A few months ago i fitted this lady who had lost 12 and half stone or something, (my whole body weight and add a bit!!) and she wanted a bra because she was a finalist for slimmer of the year. SHE WON! She came into work today and brought the magazine along so i could have a look, i joked those few months ago because i said oooh i hope i see you cos i can say those boobs were my work! ha. She looks fab though, cant believe the difference between her before and after. Ive tried looking for a pic but i cant find her. She was on the front cover of diet and fitness and she should be doing some stuff for the national newspapapers, so check the boobs peoplethats the rosemary conley diet thing.
Work was ok today, apart from everyones lack of respect for anything they touched in store. Blimming knocking everything over and pulling knickers out of packets. i was glad to leave at 5 (such a rarity!)
Thriftmonster> you dont live in kent do you?im looking for someone to go swimming with - i wear glasses and when i go i hate not being able to see incase someone i know is there. Im looking for someone who will push me hard!

I am sick of the sight of food also, there seems so much of it about everywhere you go it is there and the xmas box seems to be getting bigger not smaller or it is just me getting more irritated by people around me constantly eating:D my ds had a microwave sainsburys choc pud tonight and he nearly threw up there and then because it was so very teeth itchingly sweet:rotfl: :rotfl: it was on the side in the kitchen but I have thrown it away, I am not allowed it anyway but don't want to see it either:D
I have taken to fish today and yesterday, prawms, salmon with crackers love salmon, sick of stodgy loaded carbs and food , not dreading the weigh in in the list am turning it into a positive because a gain will def make me go back to the straight and narrow because I will feel sorry for my new clothes:rotfl: :rotfl: it will prob be a gain and that is the best thing, put me back where I belong:rotfl:
I am being eating from the inside here:rotfl: :rotfl: H keeps laughing at me but I have maybe cystitis or something, my numbers have shot through the roof, feel exhausted and can only sleep and go to the loo so I have made myself ill by eating, back to normal for me, can't wait for NYD the turkey done, all foods are then leaving the building and not returning, I mean I even relented and got crisps in how mad is that, anyone would think it is xmas here:rotfl:
missyg I had forgotten about the photos, no sign no, those or the thorton chocs my mother send the boys from Spain with express delivery have not arrived at all, mother thinks it is my fault as per:D
bails I know my NY resolutions, it has been said to me by a few people I do go on and on about money, I am always looking for a bargain, trying not to spend, never pay full price for anything, wait and wait until it is at least 70% off;) get as much as poss for as little as poss, go on about money because we have little to get by on but it seems I irritate people with it so my answer next year if it is about money and I know we cannot afford it will be a NO and leave it like that end of, that way I do not have to embarrass myself by explaining and I do not have to annoy people by going on:D My kids say we are the outsiders, always saying no to dinners out, etc but hey ho that is the way it is and that is that.
Sugar free jelly yes I miss that, this week have not made any up and miss it badly and fresh veg which has been little off this week and my WW meals, oh just get me back to being hungry on my little diet world of WW products and I will be happy:D more satsumas I say;)
We went to Sainsburys to get the basics today and it was like the truck had not delivered for a week:rotfl: there were no bananas, little veg, the aisles were so empty we wasted our time there0 -

I'm still waiting for the Postie to bring my Feb copy of Diet and Fitness (it's frustrating to know it is in the shops and I really want to get my hands on some new recipes to try). Anyway, there are a couple on Ebay at the moment here's one so that you can see the picture http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rosemary-Conley-Diet-Fitness-Magazine-FEBRUARY-2008_W0QQitemZ320200448000QQihZ011QQcategoryZ91176QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Well i try and do like 1000, 1500 steps on it, it comes up that ive burnt something ridiculous! maybe mine is dodgy! i will have to get on it again on sunday and see the calorie to step ratio
Well, I had another go, 250 calories for 1766 steps. It's not as easy as ordinary walking steps - more like climbing a steep hill in a hurry, so works the thighs and turns the legs to jelly.
I have no idea if it's 'real' or not, but it is a 'number' to work to and try and increase the amount I do daily. I like it because I can do it and watch TV, talk to the kids etc at the same time - and much cheaper than joining a gym (not that I'd find the time to go anyway)

Hi everyone,
Firstly welcome to the thread new posters. I'm sorry not to name you all individually but there are rather a lot of you. You've joined a wonderful, supportive and friendly group. Please don't worry if you don't get an answer to your questions straight away, someone will be along at some point to help out and offer advice where they can.
bails - typical dementor behaviour - I'm glad you have your down time to look forward to.
victory - I'm really glad to hear that things went well with your mum and that you got loads of bargains in the sale. As for the money thing - never be ashamed that you can't afford things - BE PROUD that you have the self control to say no to this throwaway debt ridden plastic society that the banks and big business have force fed down our throats for so long. And as for bargain hunting - good for you. You're a wise person not to pay ridiculous prices for money hungry supermarkets who are grabbing huge profits for shareholders. I say fair play to you!
OK, now I've got that off my chest I can confess I've had a terrible couple of days. My boss's mother passed away on Christmas day and I had to go to the removal of the remains from the Hospital on Wednesday and to the wake on Thursday. I was meant to go to her funeral on Friday but DS was ill and I had to take him to the doctors instead. I've already taken down my christmas decorations as I've just totally lost the christmas spirit in the past few days. OH has been ill and he's really getting on my nerves (I've enough to deal with a sick 2 year old) We ended up falling out on Thursday and I stormed out cos I'd had enough of him. Things have picked up a bit since but I've been eating rubbish out of spite, anger and boredom inspite of the Reductil. NOt as bad as other years I have to admit but I still think I'll have a weight gain this week.
My parents are coming over for dinner tomorrow afternoon and I'm back to work again on Wednesday so this holiday has been a write off for me. I'm determined to get back into the swing of things on Monday - I have to end the old year by sticking to my points for at least the last day of the year.
Phew, hugely long post and not even half of what I wanted to say on it but OH has ants in his pants looking to get on to watch the christmas Dr. Who special.
Hope everyone has a lovely couple of days and in case I'm not on before the 31st again.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Thanks everyone for the welcome.
Vixarooni - unfortunately I live in Belfast so swimming might be a bit difficult to co-ordinate:D
Am planning tomorrow evening's menu - some friends who are veggie are probably coming round - and I was searching Delia etc when I suddenly thought - No keep this WW. As I have probably every book ever published by WW (and SW etc), I have found some nice veggie Core plan ideas for a buffet - sweet potato roulade with garlic and herb cheese, carribean salsa salad, oven roasted new potatoes. Will also do ham, chicken, salmon and prawns for those who eat fish and meat. Then a WW tiramisu and berry mousse for puds.
Does that sound ok - I don't want anyone to walk in and think - OMG guess who's on a diet - but I don't want to be too tempted either.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
