    Hey people!

I have that V fit stepper. Calories they say you are burning is a bit over genorous! I also paid full price :/ its good though.

I bought a pair of size 14 jeans today :( but then i bought a size 12 pair of trousers that are slightly snug round the hip (but then with my hips its a wonder i can fit through doors :p ) The trousers are going to be my motivation pair. Something i will be able to wear and they wont give me a slight camel toe.

I also saw suits in the sale, i had a reality shock that the year after next i will have to buy one to go career hunting with. I dont want 2008 yet though, im going to be 22 :( where is my youth going?

anyway, have fun in brighton bails, and whoever is going to paris! i went in the summer and it was lovelly.

    Hi everyone!
Been reading the newsletters for months, just got around to joining the forum and have committed to living on £4,000 for 2008.
And I need to lose some weight too, so am going to stick around here for support and to help out where I can - I am an ex- Slimming World rep.

So here's hoping 2008 will be good for my wallet...and my waist!!

Hi Vixarooni, I did 100 calories on it on Wednesday and 200 yesterday. I'm gutted to think it is 'a bit over generous' - my thighs were killing me and I wobbled when I walked when I got off - just shows how unfit I am :rotfl:

Now off to do some more.

welcome ephemera and inkie, hope you get as much fun out of this thread as we all do. I'm getting all the rubbish food out of hte house and upping the exercise but am unlikely to be back to weighing in until a week on tues as i'm going away fro new year and it will be one long round of eating. At the moment my big weakness is fruit juice, believe it or not. I've had chocolate coming out of my ears all Christmas and I'm preferring to drunk fruit juice. I love fruit juice, especially tomato but i knocked it on the head because it can be quite high in syns on SW. Of course we have gallons of the stuff left from our cocktail party and being a good MSE-er i can't let it go to waste can i? I am at least leaving the alcohol out of it so that is something. Bails, I'm so glad to hear that you had a great Christmas without too much worrying. Maybe nows the time to start that soup kitchen volunteering in time for next Christmas day? Victory, Pet, slow down and chill! You're our heroes, you maintainers. Stay level and things will be fine. IF you start getting scared we'll start getting scared and who knows where that will end?
  • Hello,

I wanna start eating more healthy and lose a bit of weight. my problem is i dont exercise, so im gonna have to start doing some. But also I am always hungry. I could eat a big meal for every meal of the day lol

What things can you eat which have very few points, calories or fat whatever as snacks, but also main meals.

I think my post covered it but basically veg soup (tin of toms, loads of fresh veggies [carrots, baby corn, bok choy etc], crudite with salsa is great or crudite with very low fat philly

  • I managed 250 cals tonight, still wobbly when I got off!!! I didn't look at how many steps that was, I shall take a look tomorrow - don't think I could face anymore tonight.
