not bad for over xmas!!!'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
BB pleas mark me as a maintain for now as I don't have an official weigh-in until Weds 9th.
Have been to the sales today and bought myself 3 tops from Next (something I haven't been able to do for at least 5 years!)
I'm helping OH with a DJ booking tonight so will wish everyone a Happy & Shapely New YearWeight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
I am chuffed to bits for everyone that has lost over the xmas period, good on 'ya:j :j mine is worse news that I thought and not best pleased but hey ho, I have put on 4.25 lb:eek: that is nearly a 1lb a day for the days I ate:eek: I EXPECTED it to be 3lb and it is much more than that, I am convinced now everyone can see it, that it was not worth it, yes spiralling into depression here:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: H says not to bother to loose it because it makes me look better rather than a shammy leather:rotfl: or a woman that has been sucked in so much she looks deflated:rotfl: well whatever he says I know I weigh 4.25lb more than I did and I am not letting that go, it will come off within the week or maybe two but it is a mission to come off, that is my final word on it:D
bb for me it was a 1.5lb loss on dec 19th, well no, on the 23rd it was 1.5lb loss and this week is 4.25lb gain
I did enjoy xmas, much to much by the look of it:rotfl: 4.25lb wow:eek:
I walked around with my big black trousers I kept from last Jasn 4th when I started on last night to bring back the motivation and was caught out by H and DS who were rolling on the floor with laugher at me:D
I am eating tonight and tomorrow so count me in for 7lb gain by the end of tomorrow night:rotfl: bought loads of WW meals today so the big weight loss starts on Wednesday and not a day too soon if you ask me:D0 -
Have just seen that Lidl and Netto have WW meals, soups and desserts for good prices I think it starts next week.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0

Hey well done Jillie on your loss, that's great! :TPetrichor, so pleased for you that it was only a little gain, and with such a big buffer it's nothing to worry about at all; you deserve to be pleased and I'm glad you enjoyed your food over Christmas.:T Missy, how did you get on with the WI?
BB, I am so, so sorry to hear how rough you've been. I hope that now you're able to sit up again means things have eased off slightly? I was going to offer to do the chart, but as you've said it'll be a distraction, I'll leave it for now unless you say otherwise. Big gentle hugs to you xx (My WL is right at the mo, will be weighing Wed. and will update you then. Thankyou)
I've had a lovely day so far and v MS too! I dragged myself to the gym to find that my class wasn't on (despite checking the website for updates) so I went for a swim and sauna instead and was given a free pass for any class - I only have an off-peak gym card so now I'll be able to go one night when OH is at tai chi; bonus! Then I went to Sainsburys with the Grocery Challenge in mind and had a ball! Saved loads, haven't worked out how much yet but v pleased with myself! Just made it in time for my hot stone massage which was divine!! I've even be a good girl and had another rest, so now it's an afternoon of MSE and cooking up vats of food to freeze. The only downer is that my car had grey smoke and steam pouring out of it, so I may have to use the 5K I'm planning on saving this year towards a new one (new old one I mean!).
If you're not about later, I hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve. Looking forward to spending 2008 with you all and achieving all our goals xxxx
ps forgot to say, OH's mum bought me the same bubble bath for the 3rd year running! Just about sums it up really. Luckily OH is a lot more thoughtful - he got me a tripod for my camera and best of all, made me some magnets with photos of us and the animals at various places around the world/in the hills. Bless that lovely man! He definitely makes her worth itThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Victory, been writing my post for ages and only just seen yours. I understand that it is more than the 3 lbs you had in your head but it is onl;y just over a pound more, that's really not so much I promise. You have done fantastically well to lose the weight and you know that you can lose this small amount soon so please don't be so hard on yourself. Don't forget, the stick is still firmly locked up in the shedThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Thanks Bails:D I am not caring this evening, tomorrow is another day and yes I still shifted over 5 stone this year just hatethe fact I have to do it again at the start of another year, diet yuck:rotfl: :rotfl:
happy new year to one and all;)0 -
Oh well done Petrichor! Only 1.2lb without particularly going without is excellent! What's your strategy for this week, getting it straight back off or are you going to take it a bit easier and wait until the following week? I'm so pleased for you because I know you were a bit nervous...
Thanks missyI would like to get rid of it by next weigh in, but I won't be too upset if I only lose part of it in view of the New Year stuff, so I've set the target for 14th January...If it's not gone by then I shall invent a DIY liposuction kit  :rotfl: . I hope your weigh in goes well :j ...
...thriftmonster What an excellent idea concerning the bracelet :j there is no better place than the end of your arm to keep a constant reminder of your journey to slimness...
...Well done jillie :j to lose weight at this time of year  ...
...Bails I had a tripod for my camera too(and a monopod!)
Sorry to hear about your car, there's always something isn't there? ...
...BB Thanks for doing the chart again despite all your pain :T I'm now having to report a shameful total loss of only 56.4 lb now:rotfl: :rotfl:...
...Well, I can't believe that the end of the year is nearing, but it has been a successful year for me in that not only have I lost the weight that I set out to lose, but I exceeded my target and have managed not to go back over that target or indeed any where near it :j something that has never happened before. In the past I've always started to regain the weight even if it's only slowly, as soon as the diet ended. I put this new found success down to all the fantastic help that is always to hand from the lovely people here. I hope that each and every one of you reaches your target and that you join the ever growing group of maintainers :j :j. Thank you one and all :A ...
...Sensible (well, for me anyway:p ) resolutions to be posted tomorrow but meanwhile-XXXXI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
