speechless.
until i hit that third review and am now laughing hysterically. I am SO glad i read this tonight and not in the office at work tomorrow!
you are a genius!0 -
Yep... I could walk/cycle to the gym... I just know that needing to do that would make me an awful lot less likely to go! Will probably stick the idea on hold for a while, at least til it's not pitch black outside and chucking it down (I know, I know, rubbish excuse :P)
Vix, luckily for me, my course is craft based, and doesn't involve any exams at all. Also (and I can't decide if I like this bit or not), but only the grades from my final year count towards my result. One part of me hates it, thinking that that makes years 1 and 2 a bit of a waste of time, but then, I'm also loving the fact that they aren't going to hold my mistakes from now against me!
Right... Off to make sure I've had plenty of sleep before the weekend begins... Can guarantee that if I don't, I won't get any til I get home on Sunday night!
(Oh... And I managed to avoid the chocolate all day long... Found the jelly instead!)

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!
Well the first day back at work was as amazing as I expected  Still I'm done now and have got some free time in the morning, I'll be down the gym hopefully if I can get myself out of bed!!
Bails – yep I’m a bloke! Hard luck about the car, there will always be something unexpected that you have to fork out for, you’ve just gotta remember that if you hadn’t been money saving it would have you cost you another curry and pint or whatever!! I hate arrogance too but I’m a massive United fan and he’s our best player so go figure!!
Ajazgeezer – Cristiano’s one hell of a player, no one dribbles like him really, not in our league anyway.
Lilaclillie – Try and keep your hubby in line with the eating, your stomach does get used to the smaller portions, I’ve done it before and I’ve got the sweetest tooth! (although granted I messed up since)
Suggs – nice calorie burning session!!
Well I’m off to bed with my hot choc, yoghurt and cashews – always was a midnight snacker.on a money saving mission!0 -

Just clicked on that link, Ajax, from my school office computer. I'll probably be dismissed now, when the monitoring service find it. I should have known better.0

You'll get no bitey boot from me Serendis - if you really want some chocolate then great, have it. The fact that you feel you crave chocolate a lot is interesting though - why do you think this is? Is it psychological ie because you feel you're not allowed it, or perhaps a physical response ie you need some energy because your sugar levels are crashing, and chocolate provides a great instant pick-me-up (and then sadly an even bigger crash shortly afterwards ), or an emotional response? etc. I allow myself ANYTHING - this may sound v scary to lots of you, and it took me a long time to fully get here but the key is to stop giving the food 'power' over you through denial. When you truly allow yourself anything, you very rarely want the things you've been craving all those years. I PROMISE.
Hey bails...Its definately a psychological thing I think as I normally end up feeling ill afterwards (not from eating loads and loads I might say...just end up feeling sugared out after one bar) I know if I got organised enough and had something on hand that I could munch then I would be ok...normally I opt for the biscuits the tuck shop sell as there's only 3 in a pack and they are much nicer with a cuppa...unfortunately I do succiomb to the impulse buys!
I'm a creature of habit and routine so once I get used to not giving in again it will be ok...(fingers crossed) btw...apparently it takes 6 weeks to form a new habit....
I suffer the same problem with boredom eating...the trouble is I only tend to realise after I've eaten....
I do the same as the person with the dancemat though...always seem to manage to eat something that would cancel out the calories of the workout :-) psycological sabotage perhaps!
anyone else find themselves believing they just don't believe to be thin and it will never happen?....(btw I know this is ridiculous etc etc...yet still the thought do creep in)...my first official weuigh in of the new year tomorrow...so hopefully I will lose some...
another silly thought...I know I tell this to other people...a lb is a lb is a lb.....one pound loss soon adds up to lots...
does anyone else fall into the trap of not quite managing to believe that a lb is a success?....
