    No idea about the yoda:rolleyes:

My nice boss was off with car trouble today so the nasty boss was in, shame I love thursdays with the nice one usually, coming down with a cold(who isn't?!) just trying to organize my summer hols by booking a flat online what a nightmare that is;)

Having WW cajun chicken tonight, love it, Iceland are selling the meals and the chips and desserts for £1 each, can't grumble at that:D

I love raspberries but they are so expensive at this time of year but Waitrose have them 1/2 price yeah so got some to put with fromage frais also bought for the first time the WW yoghurts, citrus flavour 50 cals or 1/2 point each the packet looks lovely so hopefully the contents are too:D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
My – I can’t believe how much you all talk. It has taken me absolutely ages to catch up on everything. Unfortunately I only have time now to post a quick well done to everyone but shall hopefully post again later on tonight.

A big welcome to all the Newbies – there are such a lot of you I can’t remember all your names but hopefully will get to know you all better in the next few days/months, etc.

Thanks again Belle for doing the chart – well done Victory and Ajax on being slimmers of the week. A big well done to all other losers too – some fabulous results this week.

Really sorry to hear about your break in Bargain Babe – I hope they get them and you get most of your stuff back – it is all well and good if you are insured but if they have taken things that are sentimental too that can be quite distressing.

Could you cycle there Pixiedust? 1.5-2 miles is nothing on a bike.

When I had my own version of Victory's bootcamp last year, I'd cycle the 6 miles to the gym - do cardio equipment, a class, and swimming and cycle 6 miles back... did it 8 days out of 10 at one point. (And did I lose as much as Victory? NO..... *jealous*)

Sorry you haven't been feeling great though Pixiedust, in that case I'd tend to agree you shouldn't stress over food too much, your body may need the extra calories to fight off any lurgies.

I'm not loving the healthy eating right now. Haven't been feeling great the last couple of days, so haven't eaten much, so today when I felt better, all I seem to want is junk! I've got a kitchen full of lovely fruit and veg, and all I want is really really sweet stuff. I'm very tempted to write off this week & the weekend. Which would be very, very bad of me. But my mind works in funny ways - once I decide it no longer matters, all of a sudden, I don't want the same amount of junk! So the plan is to be sensible, but, hey, lets not panic. Dinner tonight will be stir-fry anyway (stable part of uni diet ;)), and then I'm away for the weekend, so don't have any real control over the menu anyway.

    Monday = DAY 1

You could try a few alternatives....fresh fruit chopped up with a nice yogurt is good...you could go for a luxury yogurt then maybe not as bad as straight junk?

I crave chocolate a lot but I find it doesn't make me feel better afterwards at all!...trying to abstain and am abusing the options drinks instead,..

*UPDATE - I had a snickers :o...It was darn nice.....I'm not even feeling guilty about it.....I am scared of the bitey boot....

If you're craving the brown stuff (chocolate, ajax!), try a two-finger kit-kat, only 100-odd calories. However, the problem I find is that you need to buy a packet of them as it's rare they're sold individually. If you can't find the singles anywhere, try a Freddo bar! Also 100-150 calories and they're 15p each (they were 10p when I was a kid, inflation for you) and available everywhere.
Please continue to hold the line. Your call is very important to us and will be answered by next available robot...

Very very true....but the snickers winked at me...with its peanuts and caramel and chocolate.....

OOh Ajax says we can talk about Radleys
Did I tell u all I got a grey Radley scarf for Chrismas & a bubbles coin purse to replace the 'lost' one?

And I got a Radley passport cover, a Radley keyring and a Radley umbrella. Only trouble is I don't have a bag any more as it completely disintegrated.
Shold always always try a bra on and look at your profile view. Youre breasts should sit between youre elbow and your shoulder with a bra on. If they dont then you need a different bra.
or in my case different breasts.

......... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that's the blimming punchline (although I think only kpc might get it) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • :rotfl: Don't worry Seren, I feel to feek and weeble to weild the bitey boot!
Going out last night was not a sucess. I lasted an hour beore feeling really dreadful, but then had to last another hour and half before being able to get home. Today I have spent most of it asleep.

A few charty things: poohbear, denbo, pixie, julesgr, jenpoptab, I have added your stats to the chart. Great to have you back perect 10 - you will magically reappear next week:D .
Dragon, I'm a bit confused: on wed 2nd you posted that you 'were up 1.5lbs'. I took this to mean you had put on 1.5lbs over the 2week xmas period and therefore entered that as your 2nd Jan w.i. Therefore this week's brilliant loss of 3.5-1.5 = 2lb loss for Jan so far.Perhaps in your head, the 1.5lb gain was Dec and you then mentally started again for Jan. Which is absolutely fine, but yous dinda say that was what you wanted. Sorry the overall total was wriong - must be an errot going back to Dec: this has been corrected - fantastic overall loss of 31lb. Getting there eh!:T Let me know if I am right about what you want or the Jan figures.

Welcome to another new bloke, renaldo:T . Stick with us and we'll help you stay focussed and hopefully pick up useul tips and have a laugh along the way.
Bluecorn - great to hear your are addicted to the site - this will help you stay focussed on your weight loss goals. Brilliant that you have already lost 6lbs:T . I have entered this on your chart entry:D Delighted you have switched to wed w.i. Hope this helps you.
If you are going to sneak off to 'FB' bails and missyg, you need to at least tell us what that is so we can sneak up and eaves drop:D ...
Well done on your start LilacL - don't worry, you sound just like me when I started. YOu do need to look at your book all the time initally, so you are doing it right, and the act you are trying out all the recipes with the right ingredients sounds brilliant. Can you not adjust the portions so hubby gets a bit more. Might help if you want him to support your weigh loss programme if he doesn't feel deprived?
Hannah - you look positively sultry - thanks for the photoshoot tips:rotfl:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • rofling at Granny - i love your little comments they always make me laugh! Ajax i choked over your last post - but i should think that suggs will get it too -isn't 'four fingers' one of the punchlines to a particularly appalling rugby song? Well, i'm assuming it's a rugby song, it may have started lifeas a napoleonic or ww2 one cos they are all quite 'strong'. The whole story of the song is that the singer used to work in a shop but doesn't anymore because every time a lady came to the shop she went away with something that wasn't quite what she asked for - so she wanted a kit kat and got . . . . yep you guessed it! She also struggled getting a chicken too.

ooooh-ing at hte radley fest too - I only have a purse because I can't be trusted to take care of a bag because I'm not very good at that girl stuff. In fact, the other day I went out to buy a pair of walking boots, tried on one pair of walking boots and came home with only a pair of walking boots. Think I must be coming down with something.

welcome ronaldo! we're positively awash with men now, how exciting!
