has anyone else been able to download a proper bill with details of usage.
Which web browser do you use? I normally use Firefox and it refused to open on there. Logged in on Chrome and it opened no problem at all

Still nothing from Shell for me yet and got email from Green today asking me to click on a link to make final payment or wait till administrators contact me. Will be doing the latter especially as want to make sure Shell opening read ties in with Green.0

Hmm. So despite many conversations with shell my first bill has kind of arrived. It's not readable as a PDF or downloadable but more importantly its totally wrong wiping out my 243 CREDIT (which is too low anyway) replaced with a deficit of 548.76!!! Due to an alleged bill of 791.87 for One months energy 13th November-12 Dec. Not only an incorrect amount (I have supplied correct readings but shell have billed on an old replaced meter it seems) but an incorrect billing period as shell took over on 27th September.0

Shell's system expects monthly bills - so it will show by default that the bill is for 1 month (Nov-Dec) but you need to ignore that - it's actually for end of September until now. So, 12 weeks or so.

I just knew when Green went pop that this wouldn't be as 'smooth' as all the Gov't nonsense made out, happily it would appear it has been a good run for some here, but I have a funny feeling I'll be chasing money well into next year.
Shell have already told me it's not 'their problem' that my Green credit hasn't arrived with them - given I had no part in this process and acted on their instruction, I'm not sure how it has ended up being mine - hey ho....0 -

- In progress: Your first bill, setting up your Direct Debit
- Coming soon: Transferring Direct Debit payments made to Green
- Done: getting up-to-date meter reads, activating smart meters, adding your final bill credit balance to your account, advising you of your tariff rates, welcome to Shell Energy, Ofgem SoLR appointment
If you can’t find an answer to your question here, visit our FAQs page, which has more information about your move to Shell Energy.
Good news – If you have a credit balance with Green, you’ll see this on your first bill. You should receive this between now and January.
What if I can’t see my credit balance/my credit balance is wrong?
If you’ve been making payments to Green, we’ll transfer these over to your Shell Energy account. As soon as we receive this credit, it will appear on your bill. This should happen by the end of January at the latest.
What if I’m no longer with Green/Shell Energy – will I still get my credit balance?
We’ll honour all credit balances with Green, even if you were in the process of switching suppliers when Green went into administration.
We’ll be sending out cheques as soon as we can, but this may take two to three weeks, so keep an eye on the post.
When will I receive my first bill?
We’re aiming to send you your first bill in the next couple of weeks. We appreciate that winter isn’t a great time to receive a larger bill, but your first bill period will be for nearly three months. If you have a credit balance with Green, we’ll put this towards your bill.
If you cancelled your Direct Debit, or use another way to pay, we recommend setting aside two to three months’ payments so you have enough to cover your energy usage. Or you could set up a Direct Debit now and spread the cost of your energy.
Why is my bill higher than usual?
Your tariff might be higher than it was previously. This is because of expensive wholesale prices, which have meant a rise in energy bills for people across the UK, including Shell Energy customers.
Rest assured, you’re on the cheapest tariff we have available. This tariff is protected by Ofgem’s price cap.
What should I do about my Direct Debit?
If you’ve not yet set up a Direct Debit with us, but still have one active with Green, we’ll start transferring this over to Shell Energy in early January. We’ll be in touch with you about this in the coming days.
If you’ve set up a Direct Debit with us and still have one active with Green, you can now cancel your Direct Debit with Green, as long as your account with them is in credit. This will mean you avoid duplicate payments.
If you’ve made extra payments to Green, we’ll move these over to your Shell Energy account as soon as we receive the details of these. If you can’t yet see these payments on your bill, they will appear by the end of January.
If you can’t yet set up a Direct Debit, you can always stay on top of your outgoings by making an interim payment.
To do this, call our automated phone line on 0330 094 5800. Lines are open 24 hours.
I haven’t received my account login details – what’s happened?
If you haven’t received your login details, you should have them this week at the latest. If we haven’t been able to set up your account yet, we’ll be in touch to let you know what the challenges are.

Wondering if my experience is typical or am I one of the lucky ones.
Shell account set up, credit transferred and, this week, first bill finally received. Taken rather a long time but my suspicions are that either Green's administrators aren't very good at administration or Green's records were a shambles, considering they had a relatively small number of customers.
Bill, which is readable and makes sense, covers about eleven weeks coming into winter so it is obviously higher together with higher prices. Will be able to tell better over a longer period but it doesn't seem to have increased by as much as media are trying to frighten people into thinking.0 -

I haven't even received my account details yet! I received the Welcome and tariff emails, and then nothing more! I have emailed Shell this morning.0
