Hi guys
Today has been a NSD so that’s one achieved.
Work was just a constant queue of people so I’m shattered, but I did walk home. I came via our local chemist and as I’m not due my COVID booster until mid November asked if they’d do my flu jab. So that’s one winter job done.
Today I’ve been thankful for OH dropping me at work this morning, for the weather being dry and pleasant and for having a day off tomorrow. This evening I’m just going to veg out in front of the tv with my knitting.

Today is a totally unexpected NSD 5, everyone is fed, top 2 floors cleaned, all laundry done, except what is currently on people's bodies. The night is still young, who knows what else I can accomplish before falling into my bed?Got a list ready for tomorrow. Appt at the bank at 9am, study books waiting for me at 'WetRocks' bookshop. Need to buy Pjs and dressing gowns for DS3 and DS4, and DS1 wants some wild stripey socks and pants for his birthday. So there are planned spends. There is a plan. It will knock another few items off the list.** New in on RooferWatch - still no Roofer - I am being ghosted.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi turtles, check in from the last two days. Managed a NSD yesterday despite going out for dinner, OH wouldn't let me pay, I will transfer him some money at some point when he's not looking
Today was a spend day as needed petrol. Used a website from the weekly mse email that tells you whether your local stations have fuel so I could drive straight there on my way home from work rather than faffing around. Also paid for a car wash as want to polish and wax my car tomorrow before winter sets in.
I finally finished stripping the hallway wallpaper this morning, I never want to see wallpaper again in my life!! Ghastly stuff!! Now need to get the wall skimmed so I can paint it, but need to get an electrician to fix our lightswitch first, has been broken for 6 years and we've never got round to it! I reckon we'll struggle to get someone for such a minor job but we'll see. OH has some electrical skills but he's the one who broke it and can't fix it!6 -
Today I am grateful for being able to just get the flu jab when I already have a Dr appt next week, for dc's day improving as it went on (it started very low though), for for getting the receipt-logging up to date with a bit a shimmy shimmy suggested by dh, for battle ropes, for getting sooo much for the food bank for £20.

Today was a spend day as planned. Mum has come to stay for the weekend and we had the fish and chips from a new shop that’s had lots of good reviews. I have to say the reviews were spot on. Really good food and very reasonable prices. Next time we will cut the order down as there was too much food even though we shared a medium portion of chips.
I’m tired today but have been up early most mornings and worked late most nights so I suppose it’s only to be expected. Finished work on time tonight, well 10 minutes early, but don’t tell anyone. We were just finishing a team meeting when my Mum arrived so I excused myself and said I was going to log off a bit early as it wasn’t worth starting anything new and I thought I may possibly have accrued a few minutes over the week lol.
Today I am grateful for my boiler still holding water pressure, lovely new fish and chip shop with good food and a great 1-2-1 with my boss (scheduled for 30 minutes but lasted just short of an hour and we only really spoke about work for around 5 minutes)
Tomorrow will be a speedy day as it’s my monthly supermarket trip but everything is budgeted so all good. That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"8 -
Thanks @Deni_debt-free_dreamer.
Yippee, the holidays start now 😃
Yoga before breakfast. Had training all day, it went well & there were some things I could hopefully use to keep children calm & safe when they're upset.
A quick walk round the block with a colleague, then headed to town to get shopping.
Yummy homemade sweet & sour pork for tea. Put the shopping away, then did a tiny bit of knitting. Feeling tired tonight.
Grateful for it being the holidays, learning useful poses/actions to avoid injury, a nice walk & chatting with mum while we shoppedUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Went to the bank to open kids accounts with cash-cards so they can manage their own money and learn to only spend it once. The one laptop that does ID's would not work. The book DS4 wanted was out of stock at the bookshop. We came home.Hope today gets better cos so far it has been rubbish.Going to put laundry on the line as it is sunny and warm. Will probably end up in Rutlandshire.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
