Thanks so much for this month's challenge (and next) apple. I've been here in spirit although not got it totally together. lots of small spends at the beginning of the month (plus being too tired to continue so some orders were done the next day). Very feeble but my sense of humour is coming back and the multivitamin is helping (as did the mid- September hiatus when I just had to stop, take a step backwards and do little bits with reading, relaxing and recovering in between).
Need to prepare my notes for tomorrow's doctor's appointment (and book taxis for the week and remember to charge my phone), make Sunday dinner and sort all the food use ups (and the ginormous heap of spuds) before new stuff comes. We have appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (just me - bloods early and boob squash in the afternoon). Hoping for a referral back to CBT for help with organising/ gathering my thoughts and suggestions for improving all other areas.
Grateful for a roof over my head, the bed (best place to be) just breathing. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!Ending this month on 17 NSDsHad to send the kids out with £5 for bits for their lunchboxes tomorrow. Not really enjoyed October, too much stress and worry and sadness. But tomorrow is a new month and i hope to find my mojo. I'm off work for one more day which always makes for a better weekI like being in bed mothernerd - i went back to bed at 11 for an hour with a croissant (freebie from the food hub) & coffee and my book, bliss
Got to do some of my PT and self employment work today. Going to make a veggie roast too.
Have a good day and hope it doesn't rain on you - blue skies here now after pouring down earlier

Thank you to all turtles and lurkers who were with us in October.I made it to 16 nsds and 16 exercise sessions, which were my lifeline really. I continue to try to simplify my life, but life does insist of becoming more complicated... So I plodded on, day by day. I am immensely grateful for my habits and lifestyle that are very much second-nature now. I love being a turtle!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

I acheived 10 NSDs this month out of a target of 12. I had to buy milk today as i'm making cauli cheese. As i was spending i bought more baked beans and bread too.
I'm grateful for - NSTs; DD2 being a bit happier and bit more mobile; DD1 having decided to try a new career after being unhappy in her current one for so long; company of my cats

We made it to the end of the month! Boy did winter arrive this morning with the terrible wind and rain! Spent the rest of yesterday at my part-time job, did a sleep-in, and then did a few hours this morning. Adds to the income but it is pretty dull being there for so long. Didn't sleep too well because of the weather and the room was really hot.
Went for a short horse ride when I finished, luckily it had stopped raining but the wind did cause some excitement. Managed a final NSD, I think my total was 17, I was aiming for 19. Had a couple of silly spends but I got close enough.
Our basement seems to have flooded a bit so need to get that sorted ASAP through our management company, hoping it won't be too expensive.
See you all in November!6 -
Thank you for this month Apple.
Ending on NSD#12.
A dry day here til teatime, then the wind picked up & the heavens opened! Haven't left the house all day. Cleaned the bathroom, then spent most of the day sewing. My brother phoned in the afternoon, then I phoned mum later to have a rant about my estranged dad. Still fuming now!! Never mind, won't bore you all with it.
Grateful for my mum, getting all the chickens finished for next week's craft fayre, finishing another bookUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
