Miscounted yesterday, actually on NSD#10
Bit of an upsetting start to the working day, but ended a lot better. Sometimes working with little people can be heartbreaking.
Went shopping after work, didn't need to buy a huge amount as I've not been having my usual things due to my mouth problems, & everyone else must've eaten differently this week too! Should be under budget this month, though spent more in other areas with being away last week. Looking forward to starting afresh next month!
Collected LOTS of sewing jobs from my drop off point in town, so going to be very busy!
Still not found out the wool from my stash, which I have in mind to start knitting, so sorting through receipts whilst watching TV tonight.
Grateful for my mouth opening another mm wider, shopping with mum & most of all - seeing all the children running about at playtime in their Halloween costumes!Use it up, wear it out

Haven't posted for a few days but not a huge amount to report. Up to 17 NSD's, should be able to get one more tomorrow as have no spends planned.
Had to buy a new heater for my aquarium as the current one is giving up and it's too cold in there. Also treated myself to a couple of secondhand books related to work, thought they'd make for an interesting read. Have had a big shopping delivery as well that should keep us going.
Finalised November's budget earlier today and moved everything into the right accounts so I'm ready to go!5 -

Been spendy today, met friend at a mid point and bought some stuff from the CS and from the shop of bodies; in the latter i had a birthday voucher plus 20% off so i bought one thing for me and one gift for DD1. Bought a book for DD2. Also ordered a dress i've been looking at for ages from an online shop that had 20% off. Made 2 donations to charities.
Gratitudes - lovely day with friend including birthday gift (book, signed by the author) & free lunch; easy tea from supplies; extra hour in bed

Some tidying, some admin (meter readings, renewed library books - hope to take most of them back on Monday but covered in case I don't make it), quite a bit of shopping (oops!). Until I'm back on my feet, I can't rely on going round the shops myself so stocked up on some things (toiletries - really need hand cream, all that sanitising in every shop didn't help, 'medical' stuff - flu, first aid, stuff I use all the time like ibuprofen and antiseptic cream). Still want to do a B00ts order - mum wants more of the perfume we bought 2 years ago and will add more ibuprofen (and check if they've reduced the sun cream yet).
Looked at a few of 'that day' sections but not tempted. Lit up penguins were very cute but extremely expensive. Decided to put in a food order whilst I was at it (trepidation at getting more account details up on the new laptop). Worked well and they had a £2.50 delivery slot for tomorrow late afternoon, so just got on with it. must deal with all the leftover scraps in the fridge this evening or tomorrow morning as well as the remainder of the potato sack of potatoes. Lamb shanks for Sunday dinner as they're one of the bulky things in the freezer and have half a meal plan scribbled down.
Grateful for cleaner staying away (her grandkids have D & V - we definitely don't want that), a couple of good films to rewatch, getting washing line dried. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -

Able to eat my usual breakfast today & boy did it taste good! 😃
Very wet outside, so donned my salopettes & my thick waterproof coat, & walked 4.5 miles with hubby. Rewarded myself with a hot chocolate & a few chapters of my book on our return. This afternoon I listed a few things on a local selling page, then shortened 7 pairs of trousers. Had 2 more sewing job requests today, so need to keep on top of everything! Sorted out dvd cupboard & put some away that the boys had left in front of it. Listed 3 duplicates on the bay of E, whilst decluttering programmes off the box.
Grateful for my tasty breakfast, waterproof walking boots, getting bits doneUse it up, wear it out

Good call mothernerd - 'D' is now classed as one of the 3 symptoms of covid (Delta version) that mean you are still infectious, keep away!!I am going to be up at 5am tomorrow, until my brain gets into the swing of 5am not being 6am. I'll put the kettle on.Still weak as a kitten, stuck on a couple of loads of laundry and shoved in the dryer as it was heaving down, made a very nice cauliflower and pea curry with h/m flatbreads for lunch, managed to do an hour of intensive sorting and clearing and cleaning in the downstairs bathroom, which is mostly a bath full of cardboard boxes of bits and things and 'where do I put this??' until I get round to making it into something else. Then was too knackered to do anything else, and we just had tea and toast for supper. Now have a bag of clothes too small for any child in my house, but I cannot get rid of them until Tuesday, so can add those to the 'declutter challenge' next month - did declutter broken coathangers (Mr T's recycle them just after the tills) into a shopping bag, and have a box of packing peanuts to offer on The Invisible Network Of Strangers. Also decluttered two candles, I set fire to them. I am not sorry.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
