evening all
NSD #3 for me. Had a long lunch, drove part way to town, walked the rest and picked up DD2's coat that had been repaired - fab job; feels very old school frugalness to get it repaired Had already paid for it when i dropped it off last week.
Managed to complete a work task early for once so logged off early to catch up on PT roles. Went out for tea with DD1 and stepmum - her treat & had a lovely catch up.
Have put the heating on briefly.
Gratitudes - nice meal out; boss letting me work from home cos still feeling rough; relaxed evening in front of GBBO

NSD no 3. Hand was cramping this morning so gave embroidery a rest. Bins have gone out, a few lumps of concrete have been added to the pile on the trolley. Made my breast screening appointment, filled in my sleep clinic review form and added the memory chip from the machine. Library books to return are in the little rucksack. Pills came, snd and cement came (but it was raining so didn't do any edging stone laying). Hoping to have a plan for the week and daily plans in place for next week but sticking with the basics for now so cooked some chicken and some root veg mash, added more bits to the freezer. can now see most of what's in my fridge. Bed is a lot clearer - books that have been read have been put back on the shelf, old notebook info transferred and cover binned. I have been to each of the bins at least twice with a bagful of stuff (had to move things off the bins to get in them) and I tidied up my embroidery threads (when I got them out last week, I slipped when I was putting them back and the whole box went upside down).
Grateful for using up things that needed using, undemanding cooking, ticking things off the list.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
NSD#3
A sunny start to the day. Was accompanying children on outdoor activities most of the day. Observed a group canoeing on the sea in the morning & took photos. The sun came out & it was very pleasant just standing still & appreciating the scenery. The only blot was a group of three old men f***ing & blinding not far away! Good job I wasn't recording video footage at that point! My 1:1 pupil didn't want to stay out long at the large climbing wall erected in the playground, so I sat inside & crossed things off/added to my to do list.
Had a good chat with a colleague after school, then had a dental appointment. He fixed the sharp edge on my molar, so should be more comfortable for my tongue now.
Did the dishes & ironing after tea, followed by a bath with my book.
Grateful for a sunny morning, 3 days left before the holidays, salt & vinegar savoury crackersUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Hi managed to leave house this morning on time to support ds1 at mri scan at hospital, even though I did not wake up un till the dog got annoyed and hungry around 7. I got my first 10 hour sleep in what has felt like years. And I feel great. Even though I lost a whole cup of milky coffee at the bottom of the car. To be dealt with on the weekend.
I am back at work, but I shal not start until my next lesson, as they make me use my AL to attend ds1's hospital appointments.
Bought more diesel, and a naughty meal deal. So lost my nsd day.
Happy hump day everybody.LBM Jan 2019 - £25.928/Active debt £14253, 54% sorted

Some of the things I've been doing must be working as I'm waking up relaxed, well-rested and even happy (just starting to bubble through). However I'm still physically very weak, I washed and dressed myself and went out to start rounding up empty bottles (a woman on the local bookface selling page was asking for them and I wanted a rough idea how many I currently have) but I got tired very quickly.
Sat watching a serial and tried to get myself in the mood to go to town (the longer I wait, the more urgent some things become) in case I feel even worse tomorrow but have given up and got back on the bed. It won't be a NSD as I need to do an overnight order for ibuprofen, drinks and maybe some soft sandwich fillings. May order some more things off my present list and my 'pending' list including extras of the two grey embroidery shades I've been using - don't want anything to stop me now that I've got going with it. Still doing round ups of various recyclables and have finished 2 more library books
Grateful for books, the bed and ibuprofen (plus the lavender salve I'm using on my temples and pulse points). Early check in because the laptop has lurgy and keeps turning itself off again. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
