@f0xh0les I've heard a few people having trouble with getting hold of tradespeople, myself included! Not sure why it seems to be a thing at the moment?

October just keeps getting better. Had a £10 win on Postcode Lottery and realised that the 2£ a month saving on my TV and Broadband was in fact £3 a month. Not life changing amounts but as they say ‘every little helps’.
NSD 3 today.Today I am grateful for short bursts of sunshine throughout the day, completing a couple of time consuming tasks at work friendly and helpful man in the phone when contacting hospital regarding upcoming appointments. That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"8 -
An ok day at work, tackled two frogs on my return home. The first was I'd received a bill for part of my new glasses, which is usually paid for with tax credit exemption certificate, but as I'd earned £200 over the threshold last year, it wasn't valid! 😔 Very helpful lady on the phone emailed a link to another thing I'd be more entitled to, said to pay bill & reclaim. Then phoned Tr4inline about my trip next week, as brain too fuzzy to work out different route on the way down due to line works. Extremely helpful lady sorted me out & will still arrive at the destination at the same time. Then phoned to inform & change the travel assistance folk, who are booked to help mum at our train changes en route. Did some sewing after tea.
Been asked to accompany pupil all day tomorrow for activities, one on land, one on sea. Teacher quite taken aback that I wanted my entitled 30mins lunch break!!! Only get paid a pittance as it is, not doing overtime for nowt!
Greatful for helpful people, dealing with frogs, a beautiful rainbow appearing as I reversed into our drivewayUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

NSD #2 for me today Had a fab sleep, almost 11 hours! Debated whether to call in sick to work but decided to be a brave soldier and logged on from my kitchen; achieved quite a bit and was fine at home as i could sneeze to my heart's content and no one could see my sore red nose Have run out of tissues so been using kitchen roll! Went for a walk after work and have managed 10k steps today. Had a nice phone chat with DD2. Enjoyed sitting quietly and reading for 10 minutes after lunch.
Gratitudes - getting washing almost dry on the line; clean bedsheets; being able to work from home today

Guilty as charged f0xholes eek. It was the shortened version of the C word ;-)Also guilty of spending last night back to Nil NSD's. I went out to sit on friends couch as keep fancing a new modular one, you assemble yourself, but it was horribly hard so I won't be buying that make. Think office seats were more comfy.Whilst I was in town went and bought some saucepans yeah so much excitement for a Monday night out, then a new bath mat. I qualify for new pans as 2 are not recovering from my cooking attempts and bath mat is looking tatty and splashed with bleach.Today maybe a NSD who knows. Starting my de cluttering today - cushion to charity shop at lunchtime.Grateful forThe rain seems to have stopped and sun is out.Bit quieter in work may start my CV this week.Maltesers oopsLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/227

NSD 3 for me! Stayed home and cleaned stuff (living the dream! ) and did laundry that I now cannot be faffed to fold. Never mind, it will still be looking at me accusingly tomorrow.I have a box of books to rescan and send off to the Book Thieves People - they can give me some pennies. Whatever does not scan goes to the Community Book Shed up the road. Checked today, and all the ones I left there last month have been taken - someone else can have the benefit on the long autumn nights. It is heaving down outside. Glad I do not have to go out, that I have enough teabags to do me the rest of the year, and the hope that at least one of the roofers is not water soluble.I have squeezed the budget, and wriggled and jiggled with it, and I might actually make the magic target next Monday.__XXPoor DH has a migraine. Started as a visual one, which frightened him a bit, but then he read his 'side effects' leaflet and it turns out it is a common 1:10 symptom. So he is bearing it, until I make him laugh, then he squeals and grabs his head. I am trying not to make him laugh. It is so hard!! I am having to self-censor for his benefit.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
