You will not fall down a gap (Foxhole?) and the only question is how long it will take to get your credit acknowledged.
But because the market and all Suppliers are in complete turmoil I fear this may take much longer than the normal rules would dictate.

MikeBzz said:Maybe that means that Outfox haven't been asked by Avro to produce a final bill, and Avro have been asked by Octopus to produce a final bill but can't because the switch to them didn't complete.
Happy for others to input/correct me on this.0 -
Could be worse - bulb is now going into "special administration", run by Ofgem. How smoothly can that possibly go?!

Bulb has 1.7 million customers to sort out.
Seems we got off lightly getting Octopus.0 -
I am not confident about Octopus either.
I moved to them just over a year ago and last week I received an email saying that my monthly payment should be upped yet again.
And also, because they estimated that I'm underpaying by £212 per year I should make a one-off payment of that amount now, as well as increase my monthly payments by £50. Just in case.
Yes I know there's a difference between my monthly dd payment and what we actually use in this tiny two bed flat but they want me to deposit over 200 squids into their bank account for no particular reason. I wrote back and said I'd pay for what I used on a monthly basis, thanks, as I have been doing for the past 13 months but I wouldn't be paying any lump sum into their account.
I'd rather deposit that in my own savings account, which is what I've actually done. (Just in case.)
No mention of that was made in their reply to me which just accepted what I'd said.
But it's quite worrying because I assume that they are writing to all their customers asking for lump sums to be deposited - on an arbitrary basis. Not only worrying because people who cannot afford it may actually do that but it's also worrying as to why they are asking people to do it. Are they on the verge?
I'm concerned that they may just go under. But maybe it'll be a good thing? We'll eventually all be back with British Gas, nationalised, like it used to be in the 'good ol' days'. Not cheap, but steady. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Maybe we should all request that we pay monthly by DD for what we actually use.1
