Help!! I haven’t had a final statement yet but Octopus are reading my Smets2 meters. Can someone explain the Gas increase in percentage terms? I am not good with these things BUT 2 million percent???????

I've had a final bill from Avro up to September 26th but nothing since. I find it very annoying I haven't had a bill since from octopus!0 -
Has anyone had a final bill from Avro using estimated readings?Does anyone know who is responsible for correcting the final Avro bill?I've had our 'final' Avro bill but it's used estimated readings instead of the actuals - even though I put the actuals for 26 Sept into the Avro website in late Sept (I have photos of the meters and screenshots of what I entered into the Avro website). The estimates are quite a bit more than the actuals so Avro have billed too much money.(Octopus are using the true actuals to start their billing.)

Raise it with Octopus. They should use the same readings as the final bill from Avro. If they do, it will be in your favour.

Maybe you'll eventually get an intelligent octopus who will realise your opening reading could actually be wrong.

Victor2 I do hope so! I have emailed anyway. My readings are going to them and so far so good until today,although no statements yet, which is fine I am in no rush to pay what I may owe them.
I have to agree the Octopus I spoke with was’nt the sharpest blade in the box..switch it off and switch it on again😂…it isn’t the IHD which is wrong!!Oh well, I may have to sell my house to pay the gas bill. Well worth it!0 -
If you can get them to credit you for the gas you have supposedly consumed, then that could be worth it!
