I to was with Outfox,  I phoned them when I saw their final bill. They told me that they will put any credit back to my bank account.
If you don't mind me asking when did you initiate the switch from Outfox to AVRO, and how long did the latter take to issue your final bill?
I started the switch on the 10 September and they emailed me to say it should be completed on the 1 October. I got my final bill from Outfox yesterday 2 December.

Thanks. I started mine on 16 September so hopefully I'll get mine in the next week.

Are you looking on your Octopus Dashboard at the "View my balance history" link?
Is your final Avro bill on the normal Avro website or here https://assets.avroenergy.co.uk/Default.aspx that would show how they arrived at a £205 balance.
SOLR are Octopus who is the supplier of last resort hence the SOLR.
That £205 will probably include the £88 and any direct debit payments made to Avro although that £88 may well have been swallowed by whatever you owed Avro from your last Avro bill up to the 26th September when it all went BOOM!
It sounds like you have left your Avro direct debit in place and not cancelled it and created a new Octopus direct debit on your Octopus Dashboard?
Have you got any Octopus statement listed on your Dashboard?
Hey, Yes it's on my "View my balance History" Page

Just checked and my Final Avro Bill was £205 - Debit (This must have appeared today) - This was the only one on the Octopus site

I have not cancelled my Avro DD and i have NOT set up a new DD one with Octopus, as suggested a few times in this thread.

So confused as to what to do now. I guess the final bill has been transferred over, so should i cancel the DD with Avro?
See the latest debit advice from Octopus here https://octopus.energy/avro/ from what you said your direct debits are already appearing in your Octopus account so I wouldn't change anything.
In your situation I would sit tight until Octopus produce their first statement for your usage from 26th September onwards which will obviously reduce your current balance significantly. Once that's happened you will be on a level playing field and can then decide what action you need to take. Make sure you enter meter readings via your Octopus dashboard on your preferred day each month and each time you do that it will create a new Octopus statement.

Just put in your latest meter readings and a bill will be generated.
Someone please tell me what money is

I know things must be mad over at Octopus but it's ridiculous that I have to go to the old web page to see what's happening in my account. Hopefully this will be remedied ?
The only mad thing is that Octopus have set the new version of the Dashboard (which is an unfinished project) as the default option.
Not many customers will realise the old version even exists.

And how do you get  to the 'old dashboard'?
I can get to the old meter readings page from a link on the meter readings page, but that's about it.

There's a link at the very bottom of the (new) dashboard.

There should be a link at the bottom of your account page.
    If there isn't, try:
(Don't just click on it, you need to fill in your account number where it says accountnumber)

  • Hi, after some advice please.
I’m currently with Sainsburys energy, I started the transfer process prior to the announcement that Avro would cease trading.
    Avro ceased trading 26.9.2021
    Octopus 26.9.2021-29.9.2021
    Sainsburys Energy 29.9.2021

I’ve not received a final bill from Avro, or a bill from Octopus or Sainsburys Energy.

I did submit final meter readings with Avro a while ago (unfortunately I did not keep a record of the meter readings submitted).

I’m not sure who to chase. Should I continue to wait to hear? Thank you
