Avro Energy Ceasing to Trade

My parents are with Igloo and they are supposed to complete the sale of their house next week. Who should they write to with their meter readings to let them know they're moving?0

From someone who has been through this before, I recommend you get your direct debits canceled if you are in credit asap or they will take more and put you further into credit...
Took me 5 months to get my credit back when Yorkshire energy went bust last year and they had far less coustomers to deal with.2 -
Oh another year another SOLR for us Breeze to Yorkshire Energy to Avro...hahahaha!0

My previous supplier was Avro, and I had just completed a switch to Utility Point, obviously who went bust first. However I hadn't had the settlement bill yet from Avro. Luckily I was in debit not credit so I will owe them money.
If they approach me for it, I will offer to pay 50p a week.0 -
No idea what to do.Signed up to Avro a few weeks ago and according to the welcome pack, I'm meant to be moving on the 26th, strange because its a Sunday.1st DD was taken last week so now all of that is in credit with no usage.Contacted my current provider to block the switch out but no idea if they'll be able to stop it, I taken a photo of my meters todayAny ideas on what to do?0

It shouldn’t be allowed that they deny you access to your statements etc. Should have a 1-2wk period/warning. I think I know roughly what my credit balance was but can’t remember whether that included my last payment or not!0

I took the advice off here and downloaded mine, I logged in this morning into the account to see if our last payment last Friday got credited, it did.
Just been to take some meter readings. It is !!!!!! though.
My parents are on holiday in Ireland, also with Avro, I feel guilty now as I suggested they go breeze, Yorkshire energy and avro !!!!!!.0 -
I am (was) with Avro.
Going to keep the DD rolling & see what happens.
Keep things as simple as possible.
I'm still going to be using gas and electricity so will keep paying money & hope that someone somewhere will crunch the numbers.0 -
Posting this to make others feel better. Hope this brings some joy:
