No, Chase currently don't offer the option of joint accounts.

Me too, just came on to see if anyone had posted it.
  • A CS rep has advised this morning that the launch was initially due to be this week, however, is apparently being delayed "due to some technical issues on our side prior to launch".

    So who knows really 🤷‍♂️

I also had the email announcing DDs, and pointing me at  changed T&Cs - - - - - which haven't actually been changed yet. There's no mention of DDs in the actual T&Cs.

The email also got the instructions wrong - - how are people supposed to open the Chase app on their computer?

There doesn't appear to be any cashback for DDs. This means my DDs will stay put at Santander.

Regarding the lack of info on the Chase debit card, what about scenarios in which a debit card needs to be checked to verify identity and a purchase? For example most hotels will ask to see the debit card you booked with when you check in. How can one now do this if the card has no info on it?  Is there something you can show them on the app instead?

I have at various times just shown my card details in the app when I picked up Click & Collect goods at various retailers, incl Currys, B&Q and Waitrose/John Lewis. Nobody asked any questions, they were all happy to see the card number.

I had this scenario in November 21 at the Intercontinental (IHG) Sofia: I originally made the booking using a Santander Zero (for booking /reservation hotels and car rental companies will only accept CC as only with them they can put an “hold” for charges). At check out I asked to swap payment card, so they put card through the pos and made the charge but then had to enter the card details on their reservation system (to substitute the Zero details already there) and I simply shown them the app. However, I have since learned that the card details on the app are actually different from what is stored on the card, so I guess they would still later find out a discrepancy between the pos receipt and reservation system.
