Quick update from Los Angeles: No charges for using Chase USA ATM and perfect MasterCard exchange rate with no additional fee (pictures attached). In addition was able to change the CC used for the reservation and finalise the payments at both Marriott and Hyatt hotels, gaining some nice cash-back.

It doesn't seem to be integrated much. It mostly sees it as a separate bank.0

It is not integrated, like Santander UK is not integrated with Santander in Spain, but the extremely positive thing for those that travel to the USA is to be able to use Chase ATM free of charge (other USA banks will charge you a fee, as would Chase USA for other UK issued Debit Card). I do travel to the US extensively, and previously I have used my Santander UK cards at Santander US branches to avoid the fees, but those are only available in few states, mostly on the east coast.[Deleted User] said:It doesn't seem to be integrated much. Busy switching from starling to Chase now they have DD`s...but found a very "annoying" thing ...every time you pay your credit card you have to input the "reference" number(the cc number) I pay as I spend on my CC so pay regularly...ill live with it but hope it changes soon !!0

How are you making the payment? This shouldn't be required for either a debit card payment or DD.ronbell101 said:Busy switching from starling to Chase now they have DD`s...but found a very "annoying" thing ...every time you pay your credit card you have to input the "reference" number(the cc number) I pay as I spend on my CC so pay regularly...ill live with it but hope it changes soon !!

The how is presumably faster payment transfers, but as to why pay that frequently, that's less clear!masonic said:
