Has anyone had any DD come out of Chase yet? Interesting to know how it works with the notification, hope it’s like starling, when they let you know the day before.0

Anybody think Chase will start doing switching offers soon0
-
Personally I doubt it. Firstly they're not even signed up to CASS, the switching service, and secondly they have an marketing campaign that majors on the attraction of their account as it is - the cashback etc. That marketing campaign is, presumably, expensive to run (David Tennant does the voiceover) and is also, presumably, successful. A switching offer would be even more expensive to run and, if the the existing campaign is attracting people anyway, unnecessary.grandadgolfer said:Anybody think Chase will start doing switching offers soon2 -

Nationwide flex direct and flex account (current accounts) both work. Have not tried using it with start to save however, sounds like you are trying to transfer from start to save to Chase?0 -
The message is probably misleading.ronbell101 said:Still a few problems with other banks recognising my Chase current account...Nationwide Start to save...message is "this bank does not accept electronic payments"...Santander...son is trying to set up his board payment and its not even recognising the sort code !!

This just popped up on my Facebook. How many people will fall for this Marketing hyperbole? The vast majority of people will be lucky if they make as much as a tenner a year from round-ups. Probably a lot less.

But the 1% cashback, or are they pulling that? 🙄0

Not that I know of, but may be they are. Or they have just decided they can catch more customers with a headline figure that will fool the uninitiated.0
