Could be used as a means to get money into the round-up saver, but obviously that wouldn't work with a faster payment transfer.eskbanker said:
The how is presumably faster payment transfers, but as to why pay that frequently, that's less clear!masonic said:
How are you making the payment? This shouldn't be required for either a debit card payment or DD.ronbell101 said:Busy switching from starling to Chase now they have DD`s...but found a very "annoying" thing ...every time you pay your credit card you have to input the "reference" number(the cc number) I pay as I spend on my CC so pay regularly...ill live with it but hope it changes soon !!

That is indeed annoying, I would send the feedback in the app chat immediately. I will do the same if I come across it soon (currently only using it as a spending account for foreign currency transactions)ronbell101 said:Busy switching from starling to Chase now they have DD`s...but found a very "annoying" thing ...every time you pay your credit card you have to input the "reference" number(the cc number) I pay as I spend on my CC so pay regularly...ill live with it but hope it changes soon !!0 -
I can easily think of some reasons why you might want to pay off your credit card more often than the monthly dd. For instance:eskbanker said:

- you can get lots of easy cashback (say no more)
- although against T&Cs, some people (not me) 'load' their credit card with a positive balance for withdrawing cash abroad

If you pay using your Chase debit card using your CC provider's app or website, you may have a better experience.ronbell101 said:

Yes I found out some time ago that when you set up a FP in Chase with a reference field filled it, the reference field is cleared after you make the payment, so next time you have to re-input the reference again.
I 'complained' about 3 months ago and they said they would log the feedback.1 -
