I was a dual fuel customer of PfP, and I have just received an email from British Gas saying "Thanks for choosing us. Here's your contract." But the email only refers to electricity. Have the rest of you received a separate email for the gas supply, or did your welcome emails cover both fuels?

When Cheap Energy Club estimated by usage on their options, it came to 3045kWh for Electric & 15641kWh for Gas, & BG Nov2023 was the best option, so it all depends on what my usage is, but I don't have a detailed enough record of my usage to Make an informed decision.
Resubmitted it into Cheap Energy Club and BG Nov2023 is the best deal, locked in for 24 months, but early exit fee of £80..
Deals are disappearing quickly.. BG have already scrapped a deal that I saw earlier today.. the Nov2023 has gone and now replaced by Nov2023v2, which is already 2p more per kWh for gas, and 3p more per kWh for electric, so need to move quick if you're going to change.. Difference in total price for my average consumption is £180 p/a..

I switched under SoLR from PFP to Neon Reef.
I've contacted NR and they put a block/objection on any switch requests that are initiated (funny thing is they objected to my switch from NR to PFP a few months ago when I left them).
I've also contacted British Gas and spoke to someone at 16.59, the CS was able to confirm my supply was with Neon Reef and that British Gas would not attempt to take over the supply.
I didn't get it in writing though, so still fingers-crossed that they don't switch me.
I also cancelled my PFP direct debit and have been keeping an eye on my account, so far I'm still £66 in debit and they haven't applied the £12 charge.0 -

Update
After webchat with Avani, after several attempts to claim it is fixed tariff, they backed down and said it was variable, and apologized for the the "confusion"..
After requesting to switch the tariff from Price Promise April 2022 to HomeEnergy Secure 2023, I was advised that I was unable to do that until my account had been set up, which will be after 4th October. The representative guaranteed that I would be able to get the same tariff and rates after that date as I was being shown today.
Here's a snapshot of my conversation..
"Avani : Thanks for waiting, I see that the Price Promise Apr 2022 tariff is already applied and it will start from 04.10.2021. Rest assured, all I can say, it is now our responsibility to ensure that you wont have to connect with us for the same issue. You've my word for this You : Ok, but I want to change to a different tariffYou : How can I do that?Avani : You can do that after 04.10.2021. You : But what if the Tariff I want isn't available then?Avani : It will be available. As of now, I can't make any changes on the account as mentioned above, the account is in process to get activated. You : So you can guarantee that the HomeEnergy Secure Nov 2023 tariff will still be available at the current prices after 4.10.2021?Avani : Yes and even if it is not available you can simply contact us back on chat and we'll change it for you. You : Ok, thank you for confirming that for me.You : I will be back in touch"
Hope it helps0 -
So around 25% increase for me. Is that about the right ball park?
Shocked from Norfolk...0 -
Nearly 100% increase on my leccy unit price. Not so much on the daily charge, though.
