I left PFP dual fuel  before they ceased trading so never transferred to BG...Still waiting for any contact about the refund of my credit balance?!  Anyone else in the same position as myself?

Our transfer away from PfP completed after it had failed.

We received our final PfP bill a month ago but no news on getting the credit balance refunded yet

Did you receive your final bill via the post or through their website?

I received a refund cheque from BG today, having jumped to another provider after PfP ceased trading but in sufficient time that BG were unable to take over the supply through the SoLR process. Assuming I was fairly low down their priority list (bottom?) I suspect they might be on the final straight now.

The credit amount was higher than I was expecting, but comparing the dates of PfP's closing bill with my new supplier's opening bill reveals there's a gap of a month. I can only assume any payments due for that period would be to BG but there's never been any mention of it. Perhaps that's still to come?

If you see my post above, I was actually a customer of BG for a couple of months and then switched but also have the gap of a month in my billing.  I got in touch and fessed up and they seemingly have no interest in billing me, so I wouldn’t worry too much in your case!

Im still waiting for my promised cheque and no amount of complaining has received any feedback at all.  Though they had no problem finding my details to demand payment of a bill for Neon Reef. Neither of my accounts from these 2 companies were ever transferred to BG  as I had already moved elsewhere. BG even tried to take a DD for neon Reef payment even though I had never set a DD with them. My bank rejected it twice before they sent me a letter.
