PostOffice online saver - takes 10 working days. It's quirky tho' - if you have trouble setting up DDs ask for help here (and PM me that you have).DJSINGH said:I asked chat and I can get a second bonus for switching a joint into a joint aswell. Plum, they'll take a DD in around a week.DJSINGH said:I asked chat and I can get a second bonus for switching a joint into a joint aswell. Whats the quickest Direct debits to setup? You can use the same DDs you already used for your first switch, assuming your first switch has already successfully completed. All you have to do is tell the recipient(s) your sort code an account number.DJSINGH said:I asked chat and I can get a second bonus for switching a joint into a joint aswell. Hi All, I have a Tesco account with two DDs that I would like to switch and make the most of the opening bonus.
I have a FlexDirect account, which was opened sometime early 2018 to make the most of a switching bonus then.
The T&Cs are a little open to interpretation on whether or not that I will receive the offer. Could anyone help whether I would be eligible?0 -
I came across this below when I logged in to internet banking and went through the process of choosing an account to switch to. I'm a member (have an active savings account) but no current account. I've had a switch offer before
but it seems my next account will need to be a joint one or I won't benefit from the following, should get the switch bonus though if a sole account.Important:
Have you had a FlexDirect account before?
If you’ve had a FlexDirect account before, you won’t receive the 12 month credit interest offer or the interest-free overdraft offer again. However, you will get the offer on a new joint account, as long as you have not shared a FlexDirect account with that person before.

Part 1 - My switch from TSB into Nationwide completed on Thursday 7th, and the £125 bonus paid yesterday (Friday 8th). An easy enough process from start to finish.
Part 2 - Now onto switching the Nationwide a/c into Santander

Hi, I'm in the middle of switching both my sole Tesco Accounts into my Nationwide sole Flex-Direct and my joint Flex-Direct for the switching offer, they should be completed by tue & wed.
My wife will switch one of her Bank of Scotland sole accounts into her sole Flex-Direct, netting us the 3x £125 offers, (doing 2x sole to sole and one sole to joint).
Now, can I switch our joint Royal Bank of Scotland package account into a new Flex-plus package account for a switch offer, ie Joint to Joint?? (This will be the "first joint" account switching to them as in clause 4 of the terms)
(Sorry if its been asked before or its blatantly obvious that it can't be done!!)0 -
According to clause 4, sole-to-sole + sole-to-joint would not both qualify, as both accounts being switched are sole accounts, and only one sole account qualifies. Nevertheless, others have benefited from this setup, implying that Nationwide's algorithm only recognises the switched-into account. As you already switched into both a sole and a joint account (with an unspecified person), it is unlikely you would also benefit from a joint-to-joint switch.Tractorman123 said:Hi, I'm in the middle of switching both my sole Tesco Accounts into my Nationwide sole Flex-Direct and my joint Flex-Direct for the switching offer, they should be completed by tue & wed.

It's impossible for Nationwide to tell whether the switched from account is sole or joint if you're switching into a joint. It asks whether the additional account holder has a debit card when you request the switch so both account holders are on the switch request to the old bank. But that doesn't matter as the old bank only has to see one of them match to approve the switch.Sensory said:
