I've done the application for my single account and my partners single account.Would we be able to switch another joint into our joint and get a 3rd bonus?0

Has anyone had an instance when the date selected for the switch has been changed by Nationwide and the switch ref number changed as well?
I've only just realised that when the switch didn't go through today and after i went back through all the texts i noticed the differences in date/ref number, seems odd.0 -
Hello all, how quick are you receiving your switch bonus? My switch was complete 8 days ago and still no bonus, when I speak to nationwide they say it takes up to 10 days but reading some comments on here people are getting it the next day?0

Just a quick update, I FINALLY got my switch bonus on the 1st Oct (switch completed on 16th Sept). I rang Nationwide on the 10th day as not had the bonus or any texts since completing. The initial switch 'timed out' as I was flicking through the t&c's, so I had to start from scratch as it wouldn't continue. This might have been the reason for the delay as apparently both attempts were visible on my account even though the first one never completed. The Advisor contacted Head Office and told me it could take 2-3 weeks to hear from them.@harz99 my switch was changed from my choice of the 14th to the 16th@liammjenkinss ring them on the 10th day to chase it up if you've not heard. It is disheartening to see most people getting it the next day though@JKS$( I switched from Tesco too, hope you have reapplied and get it sorted soon. You can always put a complaint in when you've got the bonus, might get abit extra for the hassle3

Spoke to Nationwide who said I hadn’t switched two active direct debits (I certainly did) which is the reason I haven’t received my switch bonus. I told them to re-check and when they refreshed the system it magically appeared that I had 2 active direct debits and they apologised and said the bonus would be with me Monday.1

My switch was completed on Friday 1st, bonus received today. Probably would be the next day if it wasn't weekend.

@i@ih8stress - did you also get a text from Tesco about posting out the last 5 years transactions? It was the kind of text I'd have thought was phishing if I wasn't actually switching from them. The text asked me to call a number to confirm my postal address. Not sure why, they've been happy to send correspondence to me for a while. The number isn't one associated with Tesco Bank if I ask the internet.
So far, my second attempt is working. I can see the new account listed on internet banking & I've had emails & a text. Hurrah!2 -

Hurrah!Hi, replied to this yesterday but just checked and not showing, so will reply again@JKS$( yes, I got the text you mentioned but ignored it just in case. I had already been screenprinting my transactions for about the last 2-3 years anyway so did not see the need, especially when I would just have to shred them all anyway.Hopefully your switch is now going through properly
