Great news ! My joint is now open and I keep checking multiple times a day to see if our 3rd £125 has landed 😂Ghostcrawler said:Just received £125 for switching from sole to joint. So between me and my OH we have got 3*£1250 -
I've got a feeling I won't get the bonus - I had numerous texts about the switch whilst it was progressing but nothing but silence now. My switch completed on the 16th so I have until the 26th but disconcerting to see so many people getting the bonus the next day
As far as I know I did everything correct, going via the online switch after this offer started, with 2 active direct debits in place, completing a full switch within 30 days to the FlexDirect account etc.If I DON'T get the bonus for some reason would I be able to open a second FlexDirect account from a different bank?thanks0 -
if you are sure you are entitled to the bonus as per the T&Cs, raise a formal, written, complaint.ih8stress said:I've got a feeling I won't get the bonus - I had numerous texts about the switch whilst it was progressing but nothing but silence now. You wouldn't be the first one who fell victim to the less than excellent processes the Nationwide switch team may or may not follow.1 -
Just phone and query it, and maybe they'll tell you why it failed; or fix it.ih8stress said:I've got a feeling I won't get the bonus - I had numerous texts about the switch whilst it was progressing but nothing but silence now. Thanks for the replies @Daliah and @soulsaver - I fully intended to chase this up once the 10 days have passed, just annoying that I have to but will be worth it if I get the bonus

My switch (from NatWest) completed on 23rd Sept and I received the £125 switch bonus on 24th.1

I'm about to switch from Halifax into my existing Flex direct account at Nationwide.
As soon as I have two DDs set up planning to request the switch.
Do the DDs have to have already paid out( on the donor Halifax account)in order to get the £125 switching inventive ? Thanks for your replies.0 -

Hi. Slightly off topic, but I'm in the process of switching. Can anyone tell me where the current interest rate is shown in Nationwide internet banking or app? How can I tell if I'm eligible for the 2% rate on £1,500 on a FlexDirect? Thank you!0

IIRC, the interest rate is not shown for current accounts. The only ways of telling whether they consider you eligible is by a) asking them and/or b) waiting to see whether you got the interest credited. If it wasn't credited, if you believe you should have got it, and if you fulfilled all the pre-reqs, call them.masca said:Hi. Slightly off topic, but I'm in the process of switching.
