New Nationwide Switch - both new and existing?

Friday 10th Sept - Switch Completed (no notifications received, but old account vanished and its balance appeared in Naitonwide).
Monday 13th Sept - Text message received congratulating me on being eligible for the offer, and saying it will be in my account within 24 hours.
Tuesday 14th Sept - £125 Appeared, marked as "Switching Offer".)
I was thinking about another aspect of the switch.
If an existing (or a new) member decides to open a brand new Flex Direct account to switch their external account to, they will benefit from the 12m overdraft + 2% interest.
Someone like me, who opted to fully switch their external account to my existing Flex Direct account will not have those benefits. I am thinking of asking NW is it not fair to have been given those again, since in effect I will be saving both sides time and effort in opening/administering one additional/redundant account. What is your opinion on this, fellow forumites? I know the T&Cs do not entitle me to having the perks again, i.e. 're-set' (as I already had them once when opened the FD account initially years ago).
Thanks in advance,
E_.
There's nothing 'not fair' about it - everyone has a chance at having FlexD perks once only. ....
Thanks for clarifying0 -
Got my nationwide switch money this week but I'm eligible for the Santander switch too.... concerned it might be "too early" to leave nationwide. ..I've studied the t's and c's of the nationwide switch offer and I can't see anything that says you "must" stay for a minimum term...but I'm not sure.... any advice please0

If you are concerned then open a completely new "burner" account and switch from that to Santander as soon as it is up and running. I find that Nationwide are pretty good so I suggest you actually bank with them: not something I can say about Santander!

2 days after my missing £25 got paid, I have now received the first response to a secure message I sent about the problem on Wednesday last week. They say "I can confirm that due to a technical fault you were only paid £100.00 This has now been fixed and the remaining £25.00 has been credited to your account". Despite the £125, I remain unimpressed with the Nationwide CS, as in all likelihood, it was only the intervention of a Branch that got them to sort the matter.
Anyone else still waiting for their missing £25 should hopefully have theirs received by now, too, as the 'technical fault' has been fixed.1 -
