    This worked for us.

When switching in to the joint acct, the second person was listed on the online N/W switch form, even though they obviously weren't on the sole account being switched in, but we selected the option that they didn't have a debit card and it all went through okay

That scenario worked for me too (3 x switching bonuses received).  :)

My switch, from TSB to Nwide, is underway, includes a DD to Paypal.  Just had this from Paypal:

We have been unable to add or update your bank account details
As per your amendment request, we recently attempted to update the bank account you have attached to your PayPal account:
    Bank account number: XXXXXXXX
Unfortunately we have been unable to update your bank details as per the amendment request. This may be because we haven't received all the required information.
You can manually update your bank details via your PayPal account. Please visit Profile, click My Money, and go to Bank Accounts.

The XXXXXXXX being, genuinely, the Nwide account that is being switched to, so this looks real, not spam.

The implication seems to be that Nwide are messing up that particular DD transfer.  Not a lot I can do though, except wait.

You are not alone. My switch completed on the 7th, both my DDs are showing correctly on my Nationwide account, my old account has been closed as expected, but the two DDs have not been updated/replaced on my savings account. I have done many switches with DDs, always using the same savings account, before, and have never seen this problem with any of them. It doesn't really matter as I was going to cancel the DDs anyway but Nationwide obviousy wouldn't have known that. They are really not covering themselves in glory with this switch.

I am also still waiting for my remaining £25......

It seems Nationwide have taken to creating issues on everything. This is happening right now:
