Head is interesting! Am ok. just a bit woozy.
Great night tho, have missed dancing so much!
Need to get on with stuff today. I have ordered overalls!! for the garden wish me luck!Nevertheless she persisted.1 -
I can't do it. I ADMIT DEFEAT.
First, the overalls are great, so I was all happily out in the garden weeding. Then I thought I shall dismantle the old run, I say old it has only been up since May. Go to find Screwdriver. It is dead. That is ok, the original charger and the second screwdriver I bought have long since disappeared but I did order a second charger. It is on the fish tank. I know this.
It isn't.
I cannot find it anywhere.
I am very close to weeping in frustration. I know what will have happened, I will have taken the box/parcel and had to shove it in a bag and drag it upstairs on the days when mum announces to the world that the district nurse is coming and could I Please tidy up - either at midnight when she is going to bed or just before I leave for work in the morning. I won't know what I have put where. So I have to look for it. A new charger is 15 quid, but doesn't come till Tuesday.
I hate this. I can't moan about it in real life as that just results in Mum being hyper critical and going over and over where it could be. And how I should be more organised. What, across the layer of crap in this house???????????????????
I also hate being indoors as mum likes silence. Constant silence.. It is like living in a bloody funeral home. You can't relax. every noise is commented on.
Going to go upstairs and find the stupid charger. I have said this before but For the want of a nail! Sums up my life.Nevertheless she persisted.3 -
I gave in and ordered the charger. I know it isn't me, I know. I never lose a thing at work. I am know for "having stuff". Grrrrr.Nevertheless she persisted.1

The little bit of weeding turned into clearing the clay based raised bed (6 foot by 3 foot) which only grows weeds, covering it in membrane and dragging a bag of bark up to cover that. I had a plan for the very back of the garden which is the place I like to sit as it is shady and the guinea pigs can run around in the herb garden bit whilst I read(that sounds so posh, it really isn't!). I never got to do in the summer as I was busy with mum but I had a chance to start it today so I did! Being furious about the charger helped!
Tomorrow I am going to the tip first thing, then it is operation back of the garden, I reckon if I don't sod about too much I should be able to get a lot done, I need to buy some plants and compost but everything else is there. I might try and get the compost etc on the way back from the tip. That way I just get on with it. I am going to put up two more small raised beds and possibly move the one by the rabbits.... I might not move it, don't know how feasible it is. I don't "need" to exactly. I would feel they were vulnerable without it - to foxes and it could be a good place to grow food for them....Hmmm. No, I won't move it... I will use it for food. God, that was a thrilling bit of writing.
One of the small raised beds is going to be for Bee plants for the spring, the other one is going to have a wild life pond. It is easier weeding at this time of year.
Then Tuesday it is dishwasher man, so more garden time.
I am SO tired now.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
I am having a cup of tea and it is lovely not to be be rushing around like a loon at work. Watching the news, incredible man who was injured in the Manchester Arena bombing. He is completely unable to walk and is climbing Kilimanjaro. Unbelievable really. His daughter was severely injured as well. Some people are just utterly inspiring. He has literally just said Even though I had a rough time I am one of the lucky ones. Wow. Just amazing.
Back to normality....Need to find socks and get to the garden, my back is a little suss so I will need to be careful.
Wish me luck!Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Did a couple of hours, back is pretty grim
It is utterly overwhelming being out there alone, in the jungle of a garden, having to move and sort everything yourself, there is so much to get rid of.
I might try and use the fake grass even though I don't like it.
