Thanks for having me - again.
Gratitudes for small things - like walking dog, going for a run, cooking for ds1, ds2 for being incredibly resilient and looking after himself and his job.
For my car being a work horse, for my mum helping me with petrol money, and for my sister coming next week to look after me and ds2. Heartbreaking she can't visit ds1, as fav auntie.
Off to hosp in a few minutes, too much time in car, so not caught up on reading.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Weekends all just had work atm I find, joy of gkids is being killed by having no time to myself. Cleaned and tidied up all day yesterday but by 5pm when they left, been here since 4pm Friday. The house was untidy again and needed hoovering. Downstairs tidied then collapsed in a heap. I want to do something for myself.Grateful for1 NSD in the bag, today need a bday card and drinks pressie bag.£6 yesterday surveys and £10 gift card for Large river company todayFirst good nights sleep in ages. Will set targets for rest year and month later, nuts busy in work eekLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

Loving the theme of this month!
Lights!
Things are reopening, people are socialising again. I'm going to make an effort to visit friends and family - making plans not just for this month but for next few months too.
Also like the idea of making my own life lighter, and letting go of stresses!
Camera!
Revisiting my 6 month goals and keeping in mind not to unnecessarily compare myself to other people. Today I'm going to revise my study and financial plans.
Action!
Biggest thing to do is to sort out budgets for house purchase. Once that is done it will free up a lot of mental energy to use elsewhere.
Next most important is to work on my assignments and theory test prep.
Increase movement and at-home exercise (I've been doing well with gym visits, so will focus on building on positives). Need to get back to food planning for the next couple of weeks too.
NSD target 15 for the month - currently on 1/15.
I'm postponing my plans for ebay listing etc, I have a lot of office wear to list but I think I'll have more success a bit later in the year (when more people are back in the office) and also I need to focus my attention on getting my assignments done.
Also, making sure to do daily gratitude exercise here.
Good luck everyone!

I was awoken by a huge amount of banging coming from downstairs this morning. A pigeon had found its way way into the kitchen and couldn't get out. After much much chasing around I managed to catch it, pick it up and take it outside. It didn't seem to be any worse for its experience as it was back within minutes looking for bird seed.
Himself had a hospital appointment this morning. I was going to walk over with him but we realized that wouldn't be able to go in and I would have to hang around outside for goodness knows how long. There's not even a place to have a coffee. So I didn't get a walk today but I got lots done around the house since he wasn't here to get in my way. A bit of a boring day but everything is looking neat and tidy.
Grateful for:
Himself's hospital appointment going well
Sunshine to get the washing dried on the line

DS3 messaged me, so I went to my house at about 8.30 am and have returned at 5.30 pm. Mostly outside working on clearing the jungle - filled the green bin and have enough stuff cut to refill it after it's emptied next week. Probably done about a 1/4 of what needs doing. Filled the blue bin - at least 6 large cardboard boxes broken up, 3 carrier bags full of junk mail and bits, gave up counting empty toilet roll middles when I reached 120. Nearly filled a bin bag and could have filled two more (was exhausted). Half a dozen trips to the brown bin with cans and plastic bottles and more from the yard into a spare brown bin. Barely scratched the surface - not exposed any floor yet.
Went to the library and took out 12 books and have a new library card. Went to little Arseda to buy food and drinks which did not arrive on my food order last week. 6 pounds spent on taxis and 25.42 on food (includes 5 pounds on some marigolds for mum, she's killed the others I bought her).
Just had a shower and a sandwich, feeling a bit more human now. Going to stay here and read books.
Grateful for getting work done and not falling (only noticed a half hidden brick when I'd been up and down the path several times), DS3 feeding me (he didn't cook), for the peace of my little house surrounding me (DS3 went to bed about 3 pm).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -

Today
Made my life lighter by posting 2 flebay sales and a wee bit of sorting in both DS2 and DS3's rooms.
Was going to go out for a walk but we've been having thunderstorms!
Thankful for being on a roll and achieving several things today (several appointments booked, 2 loads of laundry, ironing, ferrying DD to and from work, sorting with DS2 and DS3, organising R ay Cee cover for my car (with CC vouchers), for 'free' RAC cover, for a couple of flebay sales meaning money in and unwanted things out, for the possibility of DS1 having some paid work over the rest of the Summer, for people eating random items of food up todayI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £207
