I’ve been a very busy turtle today.I finally finished the online digital marketing course I started in 2019! I was so motivated from finishing it that I immediately did an additional 1 hour basics course on coding.I also cleared our monster washing pile - three full loads. I had to use Mum’s line to dry some of it as there was so much.OH cut the grass while I quickly tidied and cleaned our bedrooms, made the beds, wiped down all surfaces, put away dry clothes... then made three separate dinners to use up food, bathed DS, put away more clothes while OH read DS his bedtime story, and now I’ve got my feet up and am checking in with turtles.Grateful for a productive day, free courses, and sun for some vitamins and line drying.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸7

Today I am grateful for getting out for a 4 mile walk and not getting rained on, for getting a bit more done on a few sewing + knitting projects, for the BMX at the Olympics, for dh finding the remote control for the heating in the cottage where we're staying ( yep, heating required in August!!!!! As cottage not been occupied for months and being quite damp), for a snugly bed.

Morning Turtles,
I got pinged yesterday morning, self-isolating for 8 days, well 7 now. The test kit should be arriving today. It is a double bummer, as I was due to go out for dinner on Wednesday and my daughter was due to visit on Thursday. Sunday is when I normally go shopping - so deliveroo had to deliver some essentials yesterday, a very expensive way of doing things!
Grateful for
-a visit from a friend on Saturday
- getting in the sea
- Netflix3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000
Stocks and shares ISA: £1497
Additional pension contributions £0
Overpayment on mortgage: £0

Morning all, NSD#1 yesterday. Replaced 2 coat zips in the morning, then moved soil & picked stones out of it for 3 hours. Had a message at lunchtime about another coat zip job (woman originally contacted me in March), now needs it doing before Wed!! So had to do that after tea, as won't feel up to it after my op this morning. Had a soak in the bath with my book.
Grateful for doing my 100 skips, achieving things, a nice bath at the end of the day
Disappointed I hadn't had more me time due to additional work, but will make up for it today once my wisdom teeth have been removed!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃
