NSD#11
Another good night, only woke up twice. Went for a walk with hubby, once I came home, he repeated the route by himself so he could walk a bit faster & burn some calories! Had a nap, then did some sewing. DS1 brought mum over for a visit, we knitted together & watched some Meanqueen videos on yootoob. I took her home once DS3 had gone for his first vaccine. Washed up after tea & did the ironing.
Grateful for seeing mum, DS3 getting vaccine (makes things safer for hubby) & the nurse still remembering my name after working together 20 years ago, good booksUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Grateful for work from home week, lovely catch up with colleague and an almost prework run. For being able to take a small action to move ds1 from hospital to rehab, slightly closer and it should be a bit more calm and homely than a ward.
Grateful for Ds 2 having a friend stay all week, they are now working together and for him getting his vaccine almost 2 weeks before he is off to a festival.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi turtles
Haven't caught up for a few days but still lurking. A few more NSD's, paid £230 off my car this month (only £821 to go, wonder if I can smash it in the next two months?) But then had an unexpected trip to the vet which cost £225! Had to add to the credit card as I just didn't have the funds. But I have capacity to clear it so all is not lost.
Last few days at work, no sign of it winding down, things are just as manic as ever and I'm wondering if I'll actually be able to return my laptop on time on friday! Had a nice day in the office today with a few colleagues and got a leaving gift of a voucher for a camping store, which is really generous.
Grateful for pending expense payment of £135 which can go straight to the credit card!, sunshine, and spending the day with nice people.6 -
Today I am grateful for morning yoga, for good coffee, for a catch up with a couple of friends, for dh digging out the bottom part of the compost bin and putting it in the new planters, for a good book.

Staying on NSD 8 because I did a top up shop today. Walked to and from the shop while listening to music on my phone - the combination lifted me.I’ve had another busy day at the laptop but thankfully I’m not working late like last night. I don’t think I could manage two days in a row.Grateful for a breezy sunny day drying and ironing the washing, the power of music, and the bit of chocolate I treated myself to at the shop.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Got some more things listed on fb00k today and 1 bulky-ish item sold and collected tonight
Tried to volunteer at CS this afternoon along with DS2 (for DofE) and take a big bag of things along at the same time but they had enough donations in for the day - and too many volunteers!
Cleaned the vacuum cleaners filters and gave the mophead a good soak in some washing powder and hot water before a good rinse and then drying in the sun
Thankful for tasty and easy food for dinner (which involved some leftovers and salad veg just about ok), for sunshine, for DS1 digging some weeds up for me, for a fb00k sale of a bulky itemI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £207
