NST August 2021: Lights, Camera, Action!

Right to be honest I am not grateful at this moment in time, ds2 just tested positive has a bit of a cough, but nothing major at this point. But I think he is scared, and I am worried I now can't go and see his brother. 
He is now in his room, I am going to bed and will try to think more clearly about consequences in the morning.

Today i have finished off my work and put my out of office on:)
Bought DD1 and boyfr a voucher from JL for their engagement.  DD2 has sorted some stuff out for her graduation.  I did my 10k steps.  Went out for tea with a friend and had a lovely catch up after 11 months

gratitudes - DD1 went to hospital for check up scan and all looks ok; friend won £30 on lottery and put it towards our meal so only cost me £5 including tip; putting my out of office on and saying i'm back on 1 Sept !

Oh no @ditty1234 just when things were looking up! 

Didn't have a great night, up lots of times to take painkillers or refresh my hot water bottle. Felt like a zombie when I woke up. Hubby & DS3 had already left, but I needed to wake DS1 up for work. Took my time over breakfast, then sewed a fabric chicken together & quickly made DS2 a couple more facemasks to wear to college next week (attending more days this year). Posted eBoy sale, then visited mum to knit together before my dental appointment. The surgeon is happy with how things are healing, wants to see me again in s fortnight. Bought a few bits from supermarkets, washed up after tea, got out my foot spa & did some knitting whilst watching TV.

Grateful for foot spa with lavender oil in it, good news that my gums are healing, eBoy sale

Spot on, and it appears he has gotten it from kids in his holiday club as well! RIght now trying to work out how to navigate having ds2 in his room, and still looking out for him. And working out when I can go into hospital next. New self isolation rules now looks a bit lax to me!

Tell DS2 this kind of attention seeking behaviour is very immature     Oh poor love, how many tests has he done just to make sure? He must be feeling rotten about it.

Plastic gloves when he is outside his room, and a mask on his face, and open windows.  You share a space, but you have also been vaxxed.  Fingers crossed he has a mild dose and it is over quickly.

The 'new' new rules will not be the same rules as the hospital rules, you can bet on that.

He did 2 flow tests and he's coughing. We will both do pcr tests today. It's a mess. But it is also a break and we can get him organised for university! So some good things are appearing out of the muddy flood waters.
