Evening
work was ok, achieved some more progress with big frog task. Walked to nearest PO at lunch time - 30 mins away - to return a parcel. Achieved my 10k steps by the time i got back. Was then shattered for the rest of the afternoon! Manged to do exercise class on Fb this eve which was hard but felt better for it.
Had run out of tomatoes so did a small shop in Mr C, good job as when i got home & decided to have beans on toast for lunch i dropped them all over the floor so had tomatoes on toast instead!
Gratitudes - finding a new series of New Life in the Sun to watch !; being able to recycle soft plastics in Mr C; resisting temptation in the charity shop - although i may go back for that lamp...

Remaining on NSD 4.Met with work colleagues at a cafe today. It was a little awkward at first with half of the team being new. We’ve worked together online for 6 months now but it still felt strange to meet in person. I’m quite exhausted from the day and am looking forward to bedtime. Nothing against colleagues (because they’re all lovely) but I really have no desire to return to the office environment, at least not full time.Grateful for meeting new colleagues in person, for working from home, for a tasty lunch.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸8

Afternoon turtles, hope anyone who is waiting for GCSE results today gets the news they want!
No more NSD's to report, yesterday I had my yummy Japanese (well worth the spend). Today was meant to be a NSD but my car battery was dead as a dodo this morning, had to call recovery out and they said I'd need a new one so popped to Halfords and got one sorted. My car had been slow to start since the weekend so I knew something was up, and at least it was "only" the battery and not something more expensive. Am still £120 out of pocket but it's covered from the car fund. Might as well get petrol while I'm out later on visits for work as I've spent today already.8 -
We got the GCSE results we needed! So DS2 is going to be able to go to college to do A levels. Hooray!Did the volunteery thing, bought ice cream and biscuits on the way home for DS2 celebration, so still stuck on NSD5 and now I really cannot spend any more money until Monday - the ice cream was B&J for £1 at The Wading Bird Shop and dark chocolate (Bournville) fingers for 79p a box.So hopefully the stress will be over soon - DS1 still has no accommodation for his course. That is the next thing to be sorted out.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

well done to DS2 f0xh0les
i don't think the stress is ever over when you have children!
I've finished my work frogBut awaiting comments so may need to do some amendments but i've done the bulk of it, phew.
My PT job #1 is stressing me as i had to talk about H&S and risk assessments so i feel like i'm being the spectre at the feast and have ruined their enthusiasm but i have to think about insurance and public money. Gosh what a boring sentence sorry
To add to my exciting day, i had my boiler serviced and it's fine! It was making loud banging noises but the engineer sorted it. Did have a brief panic about buying a new one.
Went for a long walk at lunch to get my steps in. Slightly obsessed with that at the mo!
Will be an NSD - maybe up to 5 now?
Gratitudes - boiler ok; nearly Friday; DD1 here for tea
