Evening turtles. Congrats to everybody getting their results today! I had a frustrating day at work, ended up dealing with a complaint about my manager! Really on the countdown until I leave now. NSD number 4, got a day out at the Old Bailey tomorrow for work and am going to buy lunch as it's the last time I'll be there as far as I know and my fave Japanese food shop is there. Also got the shopping list done ready for delivery tomorrow night.9

Evening
lcc86 - sounds a good idea to treat yourself and sounds like you need a treat too !
I had a fairly productive day. Also had a long lunch and met DD1 for a walk in the sunshine.
Have caught up on my self employment role this eve and onto my PT roles next. Want to clear the decks (ie emails and To Do lists) so can have a break from all 4 jobs next week
Been spendy as booked theatre tickets for Nov - treating DD1 as part of her birthday present (b'day was June) and will be a nice opportunity to catch up with DD2 who will be doing her Masters.
Making yummy butternut squash risotto for tea. Have eaten well and nearly done my steps but will have a walk after tea.....
Gratitudes - being able to clock out over lunch and enjoy a walk in the sunshine with DD1; washing dried on the line; sitting outside in the sunshine after work to chat to friend on the phone.
Love to all
Deni

Staying on NSD 4 as I did a top-up shop today.Tomorrow I’m having an in-person meeting with my team at work. It’ll be the first in a year and a half. I’ll get to meet my new colleagues too. Looking forward to it and also a little nervous at finally being in the company of folk I’ve developed an online relationship with.Grateful for sunny weather and light winds making it a great laundry drying day, for an early birthday present from OH and Mum, and having the TV to myself this evening.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Well done on the uni results & people making little steps forwards.
I'm still on NSD#6 as spent 50p on some strong toilet disinfectant. It's on offer in the local Co0p & I had a 50p off coupon, so bought a bottle for when current one runs out. We have a lot of limescale build up, so it's helping with that.
Spent a lot of the day in pain & hadn't slept well the previous night either. Managed to do some sewing in the morning, but felt dizzy. Phoned the Dr to get more painkillers, so after dinner I walked a mile each way (slowly) to collect meds, nip in the shop & post office.
Washed up after tea & topped & tailed the gooseberries I'd picked the day before.
Had a long bath, put dried milk & lavender oil in (used to call it a Cleopatra bath when the kids were younger) & put my chin in the water too. Felt tired but the tablets weren't kicking in. Put a relaxing radio programme on my phone with a sleep timer & hubby suggested a hot water bottle under my chin. Had the best sleep ever!! Don't know why we didn't think of the hot water bottle sooner! Swelling on the right side greatly reduced now too.
I can see light at the end of the tunnel 😃
Grateful for nice chat with lady in post office, neighbour giving us 3 bottles of laundry liquid as they don't like the smell, hot baths & hot water bottlesUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Well done on the results guys, hope everyone has the Uni they want.Sorry not been about, lets just say, off work sick Monday, whatever Doc gave me 2 weeks seems to have no effect. Spent 1 hr on the phone trying to get through this Morning, lovely Doc rang me back and I need to pick up a prescription later, apparently just trial and error. However when uncomfortable, walking sitting and sleeping I just had a good old cry last night. Turned up at work later this morning, bosses quite understanding. Was supposed to go out Friends bday tonight but venue phoned me to stay their oven had broke. So happy to chill out and eat my first week of gusty. 8 meals for £14. Taste good so far. Can't remember the weekend except fell onto a large rock, result big black bruise on my leg to add to my discomfort. Probably only trip out as it was a wet weekend. Watched a film on netflicks VIVO with the kids we were all crying obviously not a Disney film ;-)Right stop moaning now. Thats all I seem to do now.NSD 4/15 needed bread/ milk today.Returned a dress, so hopefully cc balance be lighter for that.Filled a charity bag, need to clear some toys from garage. Few surveys doneGrateful forUnderstanding Doc,My dd1 popping into work this morning, cheered us all up, with her tales of her housebuild, and the nasty neighbour who has so far called, HSE, environmental health and police out to her. They all agreed site is fine and neighbour is just hell.Windy but still dry maybe get grass cut later.£949 to go to reach my next 1k saving total, then treat time. Massage would be lovely.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/227

Today I am grateful for lovely sunny weather, for an awesome trip to the circus, for the car park being just over the road from the circus, for the bit of garden I weeded yesterday looking so good, for messages with friends.

I was at my house before noon and arrived back here at a couple of minutes before 7 pm. Took 4 books back to the library, carried on to little Arseda for food and drinks (the only decaffeinated cola in the shop - one 8 can pack). Brought the bins back to the house.
Drew the curtains, opened both windows and the back door and sat in the garden to eat my sandwich. It was threatening to rain so tackled the worst corner of the garden (it involved standing on the little cobbled raised bed - only about 18" off the ground but I have to pick a day when I'm confident enough to do that. Chopped at the ivy and the parts of next door's triffid weed trees that I could reach. At one pm I got down, pulled the green bin into the yard and sat chopping lengths of ivy and branches into little bits for half an hour. Decided I could do a bit longer on the wall (and wanted to look for the tree saw which had disappeared under a mountain of greenery.
Inside was a lot fresher with the breeze blowing through. Started to pick up various categories of rubbish/ recycling and have put 3 bin bags outside. Two more started and remainder of roll passed to Beloved who needed them upstairs. A couple of boxes broken up and binned along with a paper bag of small bits. 2 more boxes for next time. Parts of the floor are visible.
Short break and then delivered two birthday cards about 3 blocks away - no where to sit down so rested on the GPO boxes. Still needed to go to Wilco so got DS3 to disinter the spare walker. Large box of fat balls bought (after I'd managed to disentangle myself from a man who obviously thought I was someone else - he introduced himself as 'the old window cleaner' then tried to 'borrow' his bus fare off me) plus a couple more diy bits. very slow getting back to the house, had tea, shuffled bits from various bags into the rucksack.
Phoned for taxi. Got wedged in the vestibule doorway (rucksack behind me, box of fat balls in front) and had to shout for DS3 to free me. Resting now and hope to sleep shortly but need some paperwork for tomorrow's blood tests and don't know whether I'd sleep better if I found it first.
Grateful for good food - really need to do a home delivery order as spending far too much on little 'top up' shops (some to buy items which were not in stock on the last delivery). having trouble thinking past fish and mushy peas atm, Getting things done, being brave enough to go on the wall, fresh air.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Grateful for a constructive set of meetings today plus good chat with project supervisor and getting through a milestone on the project ; lovely walk in the countryside and meeting some very cute dogs on the way; and the delicious cheeses that I’m going to have for dinner instead of a proper meal! 😁7

Happy Wednesday Turtles, the sun is coming back for a few days.I think I am still on NSD 5 - in an epic feat of 'just in time' I got DS3 to the dentist at 11.40 to have a filling, and still made it to DS4's school by 12.00 for his Summer School (with DS3 in the car with a filled face)Fab shopping trip, vouchers + money off coupons + £2 off a £20 spend, + cl0bcard price reduction + an error on the receipt so a double the difference refund. But I have literally no money left in the budget til Monday, when everything is fine again - why do I do this to myself? Oh yeah, cos it works. If anyone sees Tw1nn1ngs Earl Grey teabags on offer anywhere can you let me know? Coming to the end of my supply and want to stock up for the rest of the year. Not paying £5 a box though!Gratitudes: pantry full of pasta, GCSE results tomorrow (I am an anxious bundle of energy, he is chilled), putting up a wall hanging on the wall where it should have been in the first place!, drying the laundry on the line, a sneaky shandy.
