Oh blimey what a day.I’ve got an ear infection. Fortunately it’s just a sore ear. Didn’t sleep last night because of it so I’m somewhat of a walking zombie. I have an antibiotic spray for it though. Hoping to god I will sleep tonight.
Then the main reason I was going to Soccer Aid and also to the NTA’s has tested positive for Covid so now won’t be at either of them. Was going to not bother going to Soccer Aid but mum and hubby talked me round. If anyone happens to be watching the game on TV and spots a banner saying ‘get well soon Roman Kemp’ that’s me
Friday’s food:
B: HEXB porridge with HEXA milk and blueberries
L: SW carrot and red pepper soup (this is amazing! It’s from the frozen soups range at Iceland) slice of bread (5)
T: Haggis (9) black pudding (1) neeps and tatties. 15g dark choc (4.5) yoghurt (0.5)
S: 2 x easy peelers and can of sugar free Tango.
Syns: 20
i have spent most of the evening sat on the floor hastily adapting my bannermy hands are covered in fabric marker (the perils of being a leftie

Morning all, a bit grey again this morning - hope it's going to brighten up like it did yesterday as have a machine load on and want to hang it out. At least there's no rain forecast.
Hope the ear isn't too sore @Mrs_Ryan; ear infections can be really painful at times.
Hope the foot is feeling a bit better today @bubbs and don't overdo it again today!
Nothing much planned today although may pop over and see DD1 this afternoon - no point in going any earlier as she's still like a teenager and likes her bed too much and rarely gets up before lunchtime at the weekend! No idea where she gets it from as both DH and I are OK getting up in the morning as is DD2.
I ended up on 15 syns yesterday and DH had got out some of the shortbread DD1's partner made a while ago and there was loads so I ended up freezing a lot of it. It's lovely but works out around 7 syns per piece! Don't think today will be as high syn.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans - P; S; F; 2
L - corned beef salad sandwich - HEB; S; 2
D - lamb dhansak; rice - S; F; 2.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - low fat sausages 2; corned beef 1.5; LTL mayo 0.5; lamb 2.5. May also have a couple of drinks this evening if I do that will be another 5 or 6 depending on what I have!
Have a good day everyone.

@bubbs Well done on the STS; far better than a gain.
I'm going to try and stick to plan properly this week rather than counting syns over the week to see if it makes for a better loss for me! I'm guessing I under-estimated my meals out last week as I thought I was quite a few under 105 for the week.
Enjoy your Chinese tonight! I'm just making my curry for tonight - it's been in the over for the last 1.5 hours and going to see how tender the meat is in about an hour. I've just added a tin of chickpeas to it for some extra protein and hopefully to stretch it from 4 to 6 portions! DH tasted the sauce before I added the meat and said it was very hot so hoping some of that heat is transferred to the meat and chickpeas! Think I might have to make a minty yoghurt to go with it as well as rice!

Well done @Suffolk_lass. 2.5 lbs off is excellent! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Sorry to hear you've been unwell. Enjoy your meal with your granddaughter. You must be so proud of her. 😊
I'd settle for STS too @bubbs. 😊 Have you done a SAS log this week? It'd be interesting to know if there's anything different from weeks with losses although sometimes losses aren't in weekly patterns.
That sounds like a very Scottish themed tea @MrsRyan. Have a good time at SoccerAid.
I wake up about 7.30 am but, unless I need to go anywhere, often stay in bed reading the newspaper. I don't go to bed very early (about 1.00 am most nights). My DDs are the complete opposite and go to bed fairly early then up with the lark. I've always been a night owl.
I ate a Ryvita last night so dutifully put the 1.5 syns on my food diary. I wasn't really hungry but it was the last one in the packet so finished it off with some Primula, ham and cornichons.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, 2 fried eggs, bacon (P)
L- veggie stir fry (S), noodles (F)
D- sweet and sour chicken (P,S), brown rice (F)
Syns- sweet chilli sauce 2, UB sauce 1.5, weekend wine-loads!! 😁2 -
Hi
Long time no see. Have had a rubbish few months but now want to get back on the Slimming World horse so hope you don’t mind me joining back in.
Due to one of my migraine medications (which I have thankfully been taken off) I have ballooned a bit over the last year 😱😱😫😫 I have many stones to lose overall and am booked to go on a cruise for my aunty’s 90th birthday next May/June. I want to do a sightseeing helicopter ride which I need to lose about 4 stones to be within the weight limit, so that will be my first target.Meal plan for today is as follows:
B: Overnight oats and berries
L: Bacon sandwichSausage slices/sausages, jacket potato & chilli greens (kale and spinach)
Snacks: Big bag Revels, fresh berries and fat-free natural fromage frais
B x1 -
Welcome back @Betharooni; we're just like a real SW group, lots of people leave and come back. Is the emoji because you had sausage slices/sausages? If you post which slices/sausages there were we can see if we can find them on the website for you if you don't have access yourself.
Good luck with losing the weight you want to.
