Afternoon all
On the train back from Stockport where I stayed last night.I unfortunately have to report I fell off the wagon last night! I was really good at lunchtime- had a chicken Caesar salad from Boots Shapers (3 Syns) with two boiled eggs and extra tomatoes, carrot, cucumber and spinach. I also had a small sushi (1.5 Syns) and some water. However last night I had real problems getting to the Etihad because of an accident so I couldn’t eat as I planned at teatime. I ended up with a chicken balti pie and chips (uh oh)
I pulled it back though as I went to Sainsbury’s in Piccadilly station when I got back into Manchester and I got some melon, kiwi and strawberries and some yoghurt which I had with a bottle of NAS Vimto before bed.Thankfully my sugars were fine this morning. I don’t plan to make a habit of last night but when you’ve got to eat, you’ve got to eat. That said, I did enjoy it!This morning I went to Sainsbury’s by the station and got some blueberries, chicken chunks and a protein pot which I ate for breakfast (I ate the blueberries firstI might add I did have the chicken and eggs together though)
It was a good game last night and the special effects were quite something. The sight of a full Etihad stadium was quite awesome and I have to say the stewarding was first class. It was incredibly well marshalled, especially afterwards when everyone wanted the tram.
Back on the wagon 100% today. Hoping for a loss Wednesday before I head off to London for the NTA’s.Have a good day all xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Good to see you posting @Betharooni. What a brilliant incentive to lose for a helicopter flight.
Not sure what sort of sausages you had yesterday but they can vary so much for syn values.
I knew you'd find yourself low syn food on your travels @MrsRyan. 😊 Shame about the pie and chips but at least you enjoyed them. Nothing worse than wasting syns.
Hope your sister and BIL are OK @bubbs. It's really tough for them both.

I generally make egg muffins at the weekend when I've got plenty in the fridge so what's in them is a bit random @beanielou . Sometimes i line the muffin tins with ham but not essential. I then add bits of chopped veg like peppers, spring onions, tomatoes, mushrooms etc and then pour seasoned beaten egg on top. I often would add a teaspoon of cottage cheese before the egg but that was before the HEA2 so could use 'real' cheese now.1
